Another one of the best players not in the Hall of Fame. Fuzzy is one of VERY few to own six world titles as a player. Thoughts and prayers to your family, Fuzzy. Thanks for MANY great memories.
I have a autographed Fuzzys Bar t-shirt....?A prized Packer posseSimon. Pack People for sure.
I remember Fuzzy when he and some other player (was it Jerry Kramer?) had a show on Monday nights back in the 70's before MNF. I can't remember the name of it but Fuzzy was great on it.
RIP Fuzzy
RIP, Fuzzy. One of the best, and a class act.
Great person.
Is Fuzzy's Bar and Grill still there?
Thanks for the great memories, Fuzzy. One of the most enduring images of Lombardi's Packers is the power sweep led by you and Jerry Kramer.
Rest in Peace.

One of my fav's. RIP.
Boris, Coach, Satori and I saw him at a bar after the game we all went too. I shook his hand and spoke briefly to him. Also have been fortunate enough to talk to Bob Skoronski and Jerry Kramer. Three of the best Packer OL.
RIP FUZZY!!!
Even the good ones have to go sometime.
Thanks for everything Fuzzy
What a crappy day! RIP Fuzzy.
Boris, Coach, Satori and I
Sounds like quite a meating
I always wanted to go have an Old Fashioned with Fuzzy at his bar whenever I got around to going to Green Bay. I always have heard such great things about him and his bar over the years. RIP.

What was Fuzzy doing at a gay bar?
I was at a pre-game gathering at the Packer-Niner game in December 2010, and there were people there "in the know" that knew Fuzzy. The general thought was that he was at death's door then. He obviously was a pretty tough nut to hang on for another four years.
Never got to meet the man, and that's unfortunate (for me, not so much for him).
Fuzzy was born Dec 29, 1933 in Altoona Wisconsin
RIP Fuzzy. More important than anything that happened today in my opinion.
Sorry to hear, Yooper.
Well, he did outlive the average of men in this country, and by all accounts had a pretty amazing life.
No worries Yooper.
My Dad is 82 and a huge Packer fan-----I cannot bring myself to talk to him about guys his age passing these days---it must be tough to look around and realize, "I could be next."
We all come from a long line of dead men
RIP.
We all come from a long line of dead men
I guess you could say we all have a lot to live up to.
Life is like a box of chocolates...
Yea, 80 used to seem like VERY VERY old. However, now that I am 78 and 1/2 years old. it does not seem quite so old. But it is disturbing to see people dying at my young age. Not quite ready to go just yet but I am fighting cancer at this time so never know how long.
Bob, kick it's ass. To hell with cancer.
What a time it was: Fuzzy Thurston with George Allen and Ray Nitschke at 1,000-Yard Club banquet in Menasha, 1966.
Keep up the good fight, Bob. Never give in and never lose hope.

Interesting fact: The Altoona High School football field is named after Fuzzy Thurston despite the fact that Fuzzy did not play organized football until his junior year in college at Valparaiso University, which Fuzzy attended on a basketball scholarship.
@JeffAshPG: Memorial service for #Packers great Fuzzy Thurston will be FRIDAY in Legends Club at Lambeau Field Atrium. Visitation 11 am, service 3 pm.
