So far, the Panthers D suck and their running game.
Panthers with seven penalties already early in the second quarter. Kept that drive going for Detroit.
Very nice double option play designed by Mike Shula and Carolina ties it up. Fairly pedestrian TE Ed Dickson gutting the Lions for 140 yards receiving already.
My god, I dislike Phillip Rivers. He had Gordon open for the TD but scrambled left and threw to the guy who was coming back in bounds for the penalty.
Local talk has been about the supposed greatness of the Lion defense. Appears just a bit premature.

God my picks are taking a beating today. When I looked at the slate of games I knew I would do bad because too many of the better teams were on the road. It's just so hard to predict what will happen.
