- When does Savage return
- The defense still can't tackle!
+ So far, that MLF hiring looks pretty good.
- So far, the D can either be the savior or the goat.
Would you say GB has yet to put together a complete game, or have they?
+ Aaron Rodgers looked about as vintage AR as you can look. And particularly amazing considering who he has to throw to.
+Opie Taylor averaged nearly 54 yards a punt with a long of 57. Jeebus.
+MLF and Rodgers just appear in a ridiculous zone. And again, see above. To have an offense, regardless of opponent, appear that well oiled is a Hell of a testament to MLF's play calling.
-The Packers miss Darnell Savage. He needs to get better fast.
This can be plastered over every thread for all I care. Fucking ridiculous.
Aaron Rodgers, in the Packers 42-24 win over the Raiders, becomes the first Packers player in the Super Bowl era with the maximum passer rating of 158.3. And he did it without his best receiver. Packers are 6-1 heading to Kansas City. https://t.co/32qWIFoIzO

I never once thought to look at that part of the stat line.
Holy!

AR, MLF and the Packer offense

Defense was painful to watch although they did redeem themselves somewhat with the three red zone stops.
Return game. Like the Shepherd story but he's not getting it done. Fair caught at least one he didn't need to and is giving the team nothing on kickoff returns.

Not without Adams on the field. The backfield is in full gear and signs of life from Graham. I think the D still has some work to do as well. It's kind of like a train slowly picking up steam. Just stay on the tracks.
I think if both the D and O put it together at the same time it will be a sight to behold.
Watched a replay of the Rodgers-to-Williams TD. Romo: "Great play design." When was the last time you heard a football guy say that about a GB play?
If packers were to make a trade before the deadline, it is looking more like they need defensive help. Again....they are relying way to much on turnovers.

Yeah, it's been many years. MM3 definitely got too comfortable and MLF is a refreshing change.
So today the O had to bail out the D and noted above, it will be scary when they both put it together. This has been a very fun season so far as we watch 12 and MLF figure each other out along with ABG work with his pieces too.
+ Jones, Williams, Vitale, MVS, GA, Kumerow, Lazard, Graham, Tonyan all contributing. Did I miss any?
+ O line able to give AR the smallest of windows to let him do his thing.
- Far too many Raiders running wide open. I know that is the NFL these days, but against better weapons on better teams that needs to be cleaned up.

If you have a defense that generates turnovers in every game, are you really relying too much on turnovers?
+ We won decisively with backups, Aaron was perfect, Graham looked good, Jones caught a touchdown.
- I did not get to see the new sackdance from the Smiths. Their TEs caught too many passes because they were open.
+++ The whole team played like champs today
++++158.3 QB rating
++++ Teams starting out 6-1 have an 80 % chance of making play-offs

Yes. Odds are as you get late into the season and into the post season the turnovers will stop coming. Have to find a way to stop scoring drives if turnovers aren't there.
Right now we're still a popcorn D. Lots of drama both ways but enough big plays to have the happy ending.

Did you ice them too?
Missed Savage in the middle of the field today
Aaron Jones block on the MVS TD. HFS
I saw lots of zone today, I guess I kept hoping that, since zone is his scheme, JJ would get some quality time in the defensive backfield. He had been seeing the field a little more (until Detroit).

You missed some but also added an inactive player. What was the contribution, back rubs on the bench?
Awesome! Youâre excused!
Big negative for MLF today. I apologize to you, Tim Boyle.

Rodgers in an interview after todayâs game speaking of being without 17: â...weâve had to scheme up plays for other guys, and guys have made plays when their numberâs been called.â Sweet, sweet words depicting a coach who actually draws up plays to work to his playersâ strengths. And the shorter, quicker throws by Rodgers seem to have given him more faith in the second-stringers and younger guys.
6-1? If you thought before the season weâd be here now, you were lyinâ!
The bigger win was Mayo creating the WRB position. Williams, Jones and Fuggedabodit were big elements in the passing game. It's almost as if they schemed to take the pressure off a few guys not ready for prime time or hurt or old and take shots when they were there.
Great point. I love our fullback catching passes that are not just safety valves

-Negative: Only 3 more regular season games the rest of the year at Lambeau.
+Positive. The way things are going, maybe there will be a couple extra games at Lambeau come playoff time.
How did we lose to this Eagles team? Embarrassing.
+ The bend but donât break defense
- the bend but donât break defense always breaks in the end
You can certainly see that Rodgers and the offense are catching their stride. As long as the receivers make the plays in front of them, this offense will score points and control games. But the defense is getting a little too 2011 for me. The pass rush was nowhere to be found, and quality TEs destroy the middle of the field. I donât know if Savage fixes that. Iâd like to think it does, but itâs sketchy.
Every week #12 provides another reminder that heâs not done. Packers fans can rest easy knowing that they still have the gameâs best QB and heâs just getting this party started...
