Julius Randle breaks his leg in his first NBA game. That is some **** luck.

Thanks NBA pass pre-view---that was painful
I was actually impressed with the G play for a while. Knight and Mayo got them the lead. The D forced 3 shot clock violations in 4 possessions in OT. Lots of good things.
The good news is you can see the potential of this team when guys step up and play (namely Mayo and Sanders). I don't know if it's sustainable or realistic to expect Mayo to provide 20PPG or Sanders 12-15 rebounds per game but if they do this is a playoff caliber team.
What's important is that they need to continue to let the young guys learn and develop. I really don't want to see guys like Pachulia and Ersan take away minutes from Parker or Henson and so far that hasn't been the case but in years past that's what has happened.
It will be interesting to see what this team does but they are headed in the right direction
It'll be inconsistent for this year, but you can see it. Their length is going to be an issue for everyone they play. They have playmakers. And often the difference between winning and losing in the NBA is simply execution in the final 5 minutes. As they learn how, the Ws will come. But it's there. It's all there.

I still see a lot more losses than wins in their future but you can see they have some pieces in place to build around
Length and athleticism are their strengths. Lack of size (bulk) will hurt them in the paint defensively and with rebounding. Lack of experience will also hurt, but the only cure for that is playing time, so I'm glad the rotation has been 12 deep many games. The bench has been very productive so far which is important since they don't have any established offensive stars who will score 20/game. They will probably not out rebound many teams but when they keep their turnovers down they should stay competitive. Interesting to read how Middleton was benched for a stretch by Kidd for poor defense. Wonder when the last time was that happened in Milwaukee. I expect this season to be inconsistent and maddening at times but overall encouraging and a big step in the right direction.
Uh oh... who's that in second place?
Long season, but really like their play so far.
Man, he almost traveled there.
Give me 3 steps, give me 3 steps mister, give me 5 steps toward the hoop?
