I know the blueprint is laughed at, but I'm hoping MM has an answer for how to beat the man coverage we've been seeing from some teams.... Cover two or blitzing Rodgers seems hopeless. Rushing four, dropping seven is what we'll see from here on out.

To be honest, I think we have seen 'a bit' of what it takes to beat press man last week.

Crossing routes.

We mostly run seams and variations of posts and outs. We saw a couple of crossing routes last week.

I see no reason why MM or Dom would show too much in the regular season, especially after we had things locked up.

I actually think they were happy to 'hear' that there was a blueprint. It only makes their jobs easier.

Whoever wins in the wildcard, I don't even care. We take on all comers!!

yeah oline doesnt play like crap and get hurt.

guys were open against KC #12 didnt have time.

7 dropped passes against the blue print. John Skelton threw for 300 yards and 3 TD's a few weeks back on the 49'ers.

It's reason to point at the KC loss as good thing for when it happened. They were pressing with some success and it's great to have had time to run solutions to that problem over the last several weeks. The only problem I can see derailing the 5 train is injuries on the OL or getting outscored by NO.

I love all the blueprint talk, because the media has convinced itself that it's no big deal to beat the Pack.

If KC can beat GB, they can beat anyone....
If SF can beat NO, they can beat GB...

Love how this guy jumps to teams winning with the most simplistic basis. He claims the SF offense is favorable against GB, ala run game and TOP. He doesn't mention actually getting in the end zone, so if SF wants to run and play defense and kick FG's then this dude is right on the money. Put 8 in the box and DARE Alex Smith to throw two good balls in a row. He's the new version of Trent Dilfer in Tampa Bay, until he shows me otherwise.

There are so many factors that could change this scenario

What if SF or GB (gulp) loses their game? While it may seem unlikely, it's not impossible. I'm sure the Falcons last year thought there was no way they'd lose to GB at home

Take it one game at a time- win your first game at home and then you can worry about whether or not you can beat San Fran.
