No Middleton (maybe not a bad thing at this point) and no Giannis.
Bud plays drop defense against a team that constantly shoots 3s and not surprisingly the Jazz open 5 for 9 from three to lead 19-18 early.

Bucks up 27-22 at the end of the first. Portis with 15 points.
Jazz go 6 for 14 from three to stay in it.
Jrue Holiday starts 0 for 5 and not close on a lot of them.
Tough to imagine winning any game without getting anything from him with Giannis and Middleton both are sitting out.
Bucks still up 6.
And just when I type that, Holiday goes on a 10-0 run by himself.
Bucks up 9 going to the half.
Bucks have played 11 guys and Giannis, MIddleton, and Ingles are sitting out. Nwora hasn't played. He has to be trade bait at this point if he's their 15th guy.
Still 9 going to the 4th
Mamu and Grayson Allen fuel an 8-0 run and it's up to 17.
Looking like a blowout now
Bucks win by 27 against a team over 500 and Giannis and Middleton were out.
Memphis in their next game after blowing out the Bucks by 40 are about to lose at OKC by double digits and are shooting 8 for 35 from three.
Boston got beat the other night at home against a terrible Orlando team.
Even the best teams have nights off especially earlier in the season.

Orlando beats Boston in Boston again tonight.
Iβll bet if Boston and Orlando played 100 times the Magic might win 5 games.
Bucks upcoming schedule this week should be interesting capped off in Boston on Xmas Day.

What a crappy schedule the Bucks have during the next week. A lot of these guys have young kids and they flew out to New Orleans last night, then fly to Cleveland to play the Cavs on the 21st, then fly to NYC to play the Nets on the 23rd, and then are in Boston to play the Celtics on Christmas Day.
They play 4 consecutive road games against good teams and are gone the entire week before Christmas and don't get back until likely early in the morning on the 26th.
They could easily lose 3 or 4 of these next 4 games and it would be hard to blame them.
The league wonders why teams rest their stars, well, the schedule doesnβt help matters.
Starting in Memphis on Thursday evening, the Bucks play 6 games within 10 days. Itβs more like 6 games in 9 days because of the afternoon game in Boston and other travel adventures. And if they get a snowstorm mixed in there (distinct possibility) then the Bucks wonβt be close to full strength mentally or physically.
My guess is the Bucks rest guys in Brooklyn so they are fresh for Boston which sucks because I want to see a full team v the Nets as Iβm sure most fans would as well.

They'd actually be better off resting guys against the Celtics because it would give them 5 days off (they play again on the 28th). The league and ABC/ESPN would be irate if they did that though.
