Remember when Jerry Reese was a GM that knew how to build a roster? Wasn't long ago. Giants, Steelers, Texans. 1, 1A, and1Aa on how tough is is to be relevant over time in the NFL

Thanks Ted.

Thanks Ted.

Cyclical.  Every team takes their lumps, it's how they rebound which makes a good GM.

That's a bunch of crap. Throw a tantrum instead of playing to the whistle. Pathetic. Ya know sooner or later Jermichael Finley is going to do exactly that, and they won't rule that he 'gave himself up'

Please re-submit.

I'd say that rule is in place for players knowingly giving themselves up, which clearly didn't happen. Thinking you are already down when you aren't is not giving yourself up.

As for NYG not being able to suck since the Jags have cornered that market... Maybe NYG can complement them by cornering the market on 'blow'

I wasn't commenting on the play, just the rule.

Well I'm sure that's part of the reason the rule was made, but I don't think it has any bearing on enforcement, I don't think it's restricted to the last 2 minutes of each half or anything like that.
