For all that talk of getting primed for the stretch run and playoffs, they were neutralized last night. The Packers could definitely use some of the ways the Redskins moved the pocket around. Rodgers may not have RGIII's speed, but he's about as elusive, and the Packers have the receivers that can make them pay. Rodgers is dangerous out of the pocket, but we don't we much of that anymore. Maybe that's the ace up McCarthy's sleeve...
From what I've read the Skins defend the run well but not so much the pass, especially down field. Yet, NY ran a lot and threw mostly short routes. I don't get it.
If we're looking at potential playoff matchups, I think we all might want to be pretty big Cowboy fans down the stretch. By far the least threatening of the three.
Skins have a lower floor than the Cowboys, but also a higher ceiling. Give me Tony in January any day.

I only saw the first few series of the 1st qtr. Twice Eli went long, had rcvrs wide open and missed.....seems they stopped going long after that. Gruden even remarked that the Skins were vulnerable on the long routes. They do have 2 Vike rejects in their D backfield.
Seems to me that if the Pack played Wash with just a little protection #12 would find the long pass the way to go.

Funny how things work out. 1/2 Time of Pack-Vike game it looked like the Packers might be 7th seed come Tues morning. Then all the dominoe fall in our favor and we are 3rd, 1/2 game behind the 9'ers. Mason comes out of his slump and the patched up O-Line runs for over 100 yds in 2nd half to win. Especially amazing is the 11 minute plus drive to seal the victory. I'm hoping for the #2 seed, Super Bowl against Brady and healthy Packers stomping the Pats.
