After a 7-5 victory today the Crew will be going for a 4 game sweep of the D-backs on Sunday. A timely hit by Taylor and homers by Adames, Yelich and Narvaez powers the Brewers to the win. Williams with the win and hader with his 14th save. Corbin Burnes goes for the Crew tomorrow against Caleb Smith. Go Crew Go!!

I heard that starting with the Nationals series a week ago The Crew has 28 straight games against teams with losing records. Time to make hay - so far so good as theyβve won 7 of 8.
Way to jinx us into an 8-20 stretch.
Ass.
Burnes has been lights out this year. I wonder what he'd be like if he didn't have to make almost every pitch when the game was tied or the Brewers were behind or ahead by 1 or 2 runs.
He's gone 4th innings today, he's struck out 9 and has given up 2 singles. The Brewers are hitless in support of him.
This is his 10th start. In his starts, they've lost 3 games where they have been shutout and 2 others where they've scored 1 run.
They made the 2 stand up today. A sweep of a team they should sweep at home. Back in 1st place or at least a tie for 1st with the Scubbies.
13 K and no walks for Burnes. Those 6 hits he gave up don't hurt as bad since no one is on with a BB. Interesting CC used Williams and then Boxburger. I thought it would have been the other way around if Hader was unavailable.
And screw you Keil with your jinx!!

Arenβt we all concerned about over reliance on home runs to win games

i confess that Joey Votto is one of my favorite all time non-Brewers. That he's in the division makes that confession even harder.
As long as itβs confession timeβ¦I am a fan of Anthony Rizzo.
Always liked Andre McCutchen

They made a lot of solid contact today. Hit a bunch where they were. Keep doing that and eventually youβll find the holesβ¦

No chance, Freddie goes in game 3. He's as good or better than Woody or Burnes right now.
Shit. Houser got his act together. If heβs good, along with the other 3β¦look out.
Anyone else miss Hauser?
How about Shaws play at third yesterday
