It's never been better in my lifetime, that's for sure. There was a stretch from 1957-63 or so when the Packers, Braves and Badger football all had great years, but seldom at the same time. And the Packers, Brewers and Bucks all made the playoffs in 1982, the only time they all did so in the same year. But the past year tops all of that -- and who knows, the coming year could be even better.
NBA does nothing for me because the ref's are about as corrupt as the Mob.

Seeing players like Shaq and Kobe get away with murder over the years and fouls so blatent just not called because a certain player or team can't have a call go against them, well hell I might as well believe professional wrestling is real.

BTW, not nearly enough credit goes to Wisconsin fans as it should. We have incredibly small markets in both Green Bay and in Milwaukee and yet this state supports it's teams that huge markets will simply kill for.

Good, bad, or anything in between we come out. We buy tickets. We buy t shirts. We tailgate like no other. We cheer on our teams through thick and thin.
Definitely the best era in my lifetime. Growing up in Wisconsin I never thought I would see the day that UW would be defending B10 champs shoot they only time I could see them as a kid was on PBS tape delays on Sunday morning, the Packers would be defending Super Bowl champs, and the Brewers winning their division. Defiantly never would have dared to dream it all happen in one year.

Great time to be a Wisconsin fan that is for sure!

Beating Providence in the elite eight in OT in the process.

PC happens to be the only (currently) ****ty team I root for. Been pretty lucky recently:

Packers: 2010-11 champs
Bruins: 2010-11 champs
Celtics: 2007-08 champs

I also follow the Red Sox somewhat but not the biggest MLB fan.

P.S. Sorry to be all Boston douche-bag on you guys.
even college basketball is starting to look like the NBA....

IF the NBA adopts the NFL's version of free agency/revenue sharing, fair order of drafting, etc....then, I think it can rebound....

but, I dont' see that happening....

The NBA just doesn't get it....if a small market franchise can compete with the big cities...then, it's fair...viewership would increase....
Good times indeed. Rival the best of times during my life. Packers weren't terrible around time of Brewers last WS with Dickey, Lofton and the rest. Still, the Bucks kept me going during the late 70's to early 80's for the most part. Neither the Brewers nor Pack could string two decent seasons together and the Badgers were generally weak. Agree that NBA is a joke now, but still would love to see the Bucks get their act together.
And yes, this could very well be the greatest era in Wisconsin sports history. Nothing will ever top the Lombardi Packers as far as lore goes, but this team could win multiple Super Bowls, and create a little lore of their own.

The Brewers are the best since they've been in the late 70's/early 80's. The Badgers? National power, and they could absolutely challenge for a National Championship with Russell Wilson at the helm throwing to Nick Toon, and a great tandem at running back in Monte Ball and James White.
