This is the Jersey I wanted…..5 stripes on the sleeve, Super Bowl jersey.
I like them. They would have made for good color rush uniforms.

Like the uni's, but not the plain helmets.
Half ass throwback. If it's a throwback, do the gold pants and stripes on the socks. Would have been more distinctive compared to other teams' riffs.

Meh. I've seen better, and I've seen worse.
I do think using the striped sock with the green pants would make a world of difference.
I thought the Packers throwback uni's were to honor previous championships. Not that they were required to, but that's how they decided on the first design, and have repeated that since.
So I've always wanted to see the 60's-era championships throwback design, perhaps incorporating a Lombardi tribute. Maybe a patch or at least a helmet sticker of some sort.

Goldie, there have been quite a few times the Packers have worn a 5-stripe sleeve, including the Lombardi era I mentioned above. Reggie had one during the 75th anniversary at the least.
Goldie and Yooper, I'm not sure from looking at SB XXXI pics. It does look like some players have a 5-stripe jersey and others have 3-stripe. The more I look, though, the more I think some guys either have their jerseys stretched so tight, or the bottom of the sleeve is rolled up, it obscures the bottom 2 stripes.

That was the idea with the brown helmets a while back.
Then they skimped on the leather.

While we are at it, I would like to go on record that the Whooly Bugger is a way better all-around fly than no Royal Wulf.
Also, fly rods are useless in the brush-packed little streams I like. I'll toss a spinner or bait in there free and clear of Orvis-wearing douchebags all day.

No, they are throw backs. They are wearing them for the WFT game which is a Sunday.
Color Rush was a Thursday night thing for a few years. Packers went all white in those games. I think 2017 was the last season of Color Rush but some of the teams like theirs enough to still use them from time to time.

Pistol GB, if a guy could only have one fly, it would be very hard to beat a wooly bugger. It is also the fly I advise beginning fly tyers to start with as it’s the easiest and also will still be effective when flawed.
Pike’s Peak, I have never tried the Trude version, but I will! And by the way, your avatar is the best on x4! Please don’t change it!
And Dr. Bob, THAT is by FAR the best uniform I’ve seen!
The trude floats a bit higher and mimics a lot of our Colorado terrestrials and even some mayflies and caddis Use a size 16.
