So I'm going to have to delete my news feed because even the sports section is like cable news now.  Don't have the link, don't care.

Jennings goes on some shit stain show, cow something, and decides to "spill" the beans about why he left GB.

First game of the season against the 49ers, 9ers safety ask why he's running all these dinky routes.  Greg then goes on to mumble something about contract year.  Greg then claims Rodgers comes up and says the 9er's should try to sign him.  End of story.

This is a pretty easy coin flip.  Rodgers is an off the chart prick for no reason or Rodgers was a prick because you were bitching about a contract and the routes you're running during the first game of the season?

Jennings then infers it's because of contracts and Rodgers wanted to get his.  Also claims it ruined his whole season.

Greg Jennings watches the entire world love Larry Fitzgerald get little done. But the entire world ****ing loves Larry Fitzgerald because he started 2 years before Greg and keeps playing years after Greg decided to become irrelevant because he chased money.

**** anything Greg Jennings has to say. He hates that he’s not playing because he ****ed himself out of playing. Seriously. **** Greg Jennings.

From the article:

The 29-year-old Jennings played in only eight games for the Packers in 2012, plus two in the playoffs, because of a torn lower abdominal muscle and finished with a career-low 366 yards receiving with an average of 10.2 yards per catch, also his worst NFL total.

In 2011, he missed three games with a sprained left knee. He said he felt lost in the shuffle behind younger Packers receivers such as James JonesJordy Nelson and Randall Cobb and sounded determined to prove that his best years are not behind him.

The contract has a maximum value of $47.5 mlllion, with $18 million guaranteed. The contract is worth a minimum of $27 million over the first three years, and could be as much as $28.5 million over the first three years if he goes to the Pro Bowl, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

He didn't go to the pro bowl as a Viking. He only lasted two seasons with them before ending up with the Dolphins.

Funny he starts this entire thing by recalling how he said Rodgers was sensitive, then goes on for 5 mins about something Rodgers said to him during a game once that he couldn't get over.  Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I’d love to hear Rodgers side of this if he ever dignifies it with a response. I really would.

Just not now. Plenty of time for this kind of crap in the off season.

Greg Jennings, what a fricken baby.

Doubt Rodgers even responds.  My guess is it was in jest, if it was even said.  Rodgers has a pretty dry sense of humor, good chance that Jennings just didn't get it.

If I remember right, the Packers made a more than fair offer to him before free agency.  He had decent 2011 but they had drafted Cobb and Nelson in 2010 and 2011, both of who were looking like future studs by 2012.  Then he tore his ACL then got a huge contract offer from the Vikings.  TT was right to not match that offer.  Jennings is just one of the long line of WRs who thinks he made the QB.  Only WR I've ever seen make a QB was Moss.  Jennings was no Moss.

Just sad Jennings can't move on.  He knows the only way he gets on these shows is to talk dirt about Rodgers and apparently he isn't above that.

PFT had an entry talking about how the story of Brady/Rodgers had devolved leading up to this game, citing a question about whether the 2 qbs had a "bromance." This Jennings garbage is just another example of the need to fill tv time and manufacture stories to justify the 24/7 format. Like others have said, with Gerg the proof is in the pudding. Really stuck it to the Pack when you left for purpler pastures. This is the kind of nonsense that turns ppl away from the sport over time. AR definitely has ego. It comes along with his chip and the fact that he's earned a place in a realm Gerg will only dream about. That said, I'll sooner trust a guy that handled the Favre situation as well as a young man could, than a player who still felt obliged to say 4 was better than 12 long after the drama was over. Isn't that the same kinda thing got Gerg all chapped in his story? He comes off like the idot he is instead of the aw shucks nice guy he wants ppl to see.

Completely pointless to respond to anything Gerg says.

My only "response" would be......"we have a very big game to play on Sunday night. I'm focused on playing the Patriots."

My response would be: "we have a very big game to play on Sunday night, I'm focused on playing the Patriots. Who cares what Gerg Jennings washed up sister has to say."

Jennings never tore an ACL though he did suffer serious injuries his final two seasons in Green Bay

And the contract Ted offered was not just "more than fair" it was idiotic, because he offered Jennings more than what the Vikings paid him.

The crux of the Jennings-Packers conflict stems from the fact the contract Jennings got from Minnesota paid him < than what Ted offered him during the 2012 season and Jennings unwisely rejected that offer.

I've always thought Jennings resents the fact that he stupidly turned down a contract from a GM who was always willing to overpay his own guys only to discover that he was not worth as much to the rest of league. Because he is incapable of accepting personal responsibility for that decision he lashes out at others. Ty Montgomery is apparently a big fan.

The fact he gave up more $ by leaving GB and the Vikings (and the Dolphins) were not any good after he left explains to me why Jennings is so bitter.

Much like BJ Raji, Jennings should have accepted Ted's offer to overpay him for his declining services.

Please extrapolate on your comparison being BJ Raji.

My understanding is that BJ chose to quit football in order to support his family during trying times of bad health.

when it is about family, money is irrelevant. Or, maybe, I missed something regarding the Raji situation?

Just consider the original poster. That is all.
