…because this is the Thursday Night football we know and love.

…because despite never having been to either Jax or Cincy, I’m sure Fedya has an opinion of those fine cities.

…because eventually the greedy N.F.L. owners will come up with “Double-header Wednesday’s”

I am pleasantly surprised by this game.  The QBs are young and inexperienced, but their raw talent is obvious.  Burrow needs to prove he can stay healthy but I think these QBs have a chance to be excellent building blocks for the future.

How far from these guys does Love look?

Not even close in my eyes.

Agreed.  Burrow is a little older than Love though.  Lawrence is considered by some scouts to be one of the best QB prospects since Andrew Luck back in 2012.

It’s not the end of the world to not look as good as these 2 QBs, but hopefully we see a huge improvement next training camp from Love.

Looks like two young qbs who seem to be stepping up with the game on the line. On paper, this game sucks. But watching this 4th qtr is what NFL football should be about. They're making chicken salad out of chicken shit in Cincy tonight. Both these kids are worth watching.

Man the Jags are just sad.

They really have a terrible organization and fanbase.  That said, Trevor Lawrence is  a hell of a building block being only 21 years old with a ton of God given talent.  Give him some help over the next couple years and they could easily turn things around.

They also lost Etienne right out of the gate. There's a handful of teams worth watching in terms of how they build from the ground up. Jags and Bengals are in that group. Lawrence and Burrow are a great start for any team trying to climb out of the abyss.

I was under the impression that politics were a no-no on this site, and then I see this thread.
Bunch of effin hypocrites.

Wow.

We were sexist, unwoke and sophomoric , but political? Lighten up.

He doesn’t have to be as good as them to win. He just has to be good.

BTW, far too early to judge. The boy hasn’t even played a regular season game outside of garbage time.
