Then cut to a shot of Illinois state politicians and public employee union bosses at a fancy Caribbean resort enjoying their six-figure retirements, cash like confetti in the air. Fat pols, and skinny ones, attractive pols and even a few with chunks of back hair, all tanned, capped teeth, nipped and tucked, partying away at one of those swim-up bars.

One guy, with a cigar and moobs, shouts, “Don’t you just love those (bleeping) kids back home?” They all laugh.

In a split screen there’s a time-lapse shot of a young millennial, with a beard, holding a shovel to push “taxes” into the “Illinois public pension” furnace.

The millennial’s beard grows white. His face wrinkles and he stoops from age and toil. His Barcelona shirt is now in rags as he shovels, the winds howling about him. The pols can be heard calling for another frozen daiquiri.

Another ad aims at young educators. It shows a 20-something teacher digging into her own meager savings to buy school supplies for her students at Chicago Public Schools. Follow with a shot of clout-heavy school principals grilling steaks and lobster bought with school funds and feasting in the school cafeteria.

The young teacher and her students stare through the cafeteria window in silence. No sizzle, just the sound of the wind.

A thin child walks up to a principal, extends a wooden bowl, says, “Please sir, may I have some lobster?”

Yet Wisconsin doesn’t really need ads. All it needs to lure young people is to run our news headlines and show the arrogance of the Illinois political class, which leaves the young with little opportunity but plenty of crushing, back-breaking debt.

This is Illinois. We already know why we’re losing our kids. All you’ve got to do is ask them.

I spent an hour and a half 'debating' with a 26 year old tonight during some xbox golf.

Then it ended up to be 5 hours.

The best part was when he switched to german and tried to tell me the origins of Wisconsin and how the Germans really deserved it and how he waaaayyyyyy missed his arguments for the 'native' americans.

Scandinavian seemed absurd.   He wouldn't even listen.   Polish.  No.  He actually couldn't even note the Oneida and called me on Nicollet. Chippewa? Nah. Nothing. But he did want to keep talking German. OK?!?!

Apparent those who did discover these lands are no longer recognized by actual history. Apparently many who maintain their history are no longer recognized.

We're Fd.
