Per WTMJ.COM, Former Packers WR James Jones announces retirement.
Around his 3rd year, really got his act together and became a Velcro WR. That dude caught everything.
Hope he signs a one day deal with GB.

Great guy. loved his play. wished he wouldn't have dropped that TD pass in the Supper Bowl though
Huh, I thought he was still with the Giants.
Packer People.
Hoodie year was great!
So, what's next? "I'm pleased to announce that I was offered a position with the NFL Network, so I'm hoping to follow in the footsteps of other great Packer legends like Greg Jennings and Charles Woodson and take my talents into broadcasting. I admire what they have been able to achieve post-football, so if I can only do one-third of what they've accomplished, I should be fine." Jones continued, "I am also looking forward to dedicating more of my time to my charitable organization, Love Jones 4 Kids, which provides much needed financial help to homeless shelters. In the end, I want to help others, enjoy my retirement and continue to be grateful for my blessings. And, to Never Think About Failure!"
Still can't believe he dropped a walk in TD against the Eagles in the 2010 Wild Card game right before halftime. Should have cut him in the locker room. Unforgivable. That's what happens when you try and develop a draft pick instead of signing an older free agent. Look at me wearing a hoodie under my jersey trying to stand out while I drop passes!!!!
Sorry. Just trying to prep myself for the things I'm gonna see in the upcoming game day threads.
JJ was a pro's pro. He never said a bad word about GB even after they cut ties twice. He just played his ass off. Liked him even more for every free football camp he held in CA for every kid that just wanted to play a little football.
James Jones is pure good people.
Always remember the rough period he went through where he seemed to drop the easy ones and make the circus catches. Great teammate and best of luck to him.
How many X4 GMs would have cut him before he developed?
Congrats on your retirement James!!
Yo Finn, you need to post more.

Say what? None. Jones was a starter the year he was drafted! He had like 47 catches for almost 700 yards that year.
Yeah you need to post more softballs alright.
This is fun stuff. Always enjoyed watching Jones. The comeback year was special. He had lost some speed, but he was so good at just making plays especially when it really mattered.
Class Act ....and some amazing one handed catches.
James Jones' Amazing Life Journey.
How many people would go back to pay back the pizza guy ?
After Jordy went down, the chemistry that Rodgers and Jones had was something special.
