Somebody please explain to me the wisdom of having Brice Turang, who is slashing .338/.393/.475/.868 and 12 of 12 on stolen bases in 2024-and a ridiculous 38 of 42 (90.5%) in his career-bat 8th or 9th? 57 of his PAs have come from the bottom two spots on the order.

And on cue, he steals #13.

The way he’s hitting, and getting on base, wouldn’t we want him atop the order?

I’m not going to question Pat Murphy. He’s done a bang up job thus far. But that puzzles me.

You put a guy hitting well behind a guy who is struggling to get that guy better pitches to hit.  Murphy is trying to get Sanchez better pitches to hit by having Turang behind him . Lots of managers do exactly that.

Damn it Adames.  frelick has a 6 pitch at bat before making an out.  Contreras has a 6 pitch at bat and doubles.  So idot Willie comes up and hits the 1st pitch.  What the hell were you thinking?  Oh I know, you weren't.

Wade Miley to have season ending and possibly career ending Tommy John surgery.  He is 37 and may not be able to be an effective pitcher again, altho he is going to try.

That sucks. Man, our pitching staff is just getting hit hard.

I hope the surgery goes well.

I can understand  the wisdom of that, but we have other guys that are hitting pretty well that might be able to accomplish the same thing, while allowing Turang and his unique-and disruptive-skill set atop the order.

Whatever Murphy is doing, it’s working, and it’s really impressive with Yeli out since game 11.

What a win for the Brewers! So many people are contributing.

Boy does Joe Ross suck.   Top of 1st, hit batter, walk and a 3 run homer.  Hoskins hits solo homer in Brewer 1st. Yankee 3rd  walk, walk, infield single to pitcher and then a 3 run double.   6 - 1 Yanks, Brewers batting in 3rd.

Chourio up with 2 on and 2 out in the bottom of the 5th. He flies out to deep left. Much better swing than most of his recent at-bats, but still 4 for his last 38 with 17 strikeouts.

You make the call..... MLBFU

He hit it with his "Oven Mit"

Can't watch MLB anymore. First it's hardly on any "regular channel" and when it does the announcers suck.

I grew up with  WPIX Yankee Baseball Rizzuto, Messer and White.

Can't watch the NBA any more either. The announcers suck

I grew up on Celtics basketball on WBZ with Johnny Most "Havlicek Stole the Ball"

Dick Stockton, Brent Musburger and Bill Russell

Can't watch Nascar any more either. Announcers suck Grew up with Ken Squier "Rimriding and sashaying down the backstretch" and Chris Economaki

Time to send Wiemer back down, bring back Monesterio.  Maybe DFA Miller. He just just doesn't have it anymore.  Also bring up Gasser to pitch, he is not on the 40 man roster so DFA Miley  and bring Gasser up.
