I heard WI, Mich St and Virginia.  Don't know if the interest is two ways or just those 3 interested in landing them.

One of the Milwaukee reporters Prdroykus (sorry dont know how to spell his name) is dropping some serious hints on twitter that it might be a happy spring for UW fans.   He is also reporting the its UW, UVA, and MSU as the front runners.

Given Bennett ties to Stevens Point I have to believe Virginia is the leader in the clubhouse.

I think as long as Gard is head coach they are not a viable option.

It would be annoying and frustrating to see them end up at M$U.

Makes you really wonder WTF is going on at Marquette.  Sandy Cohen and Haanif Cheatham transferred out as well and both were highly regarded players.

Tony went to SPASH for three years so that has to help.

I don't think they'll end up at MSU. I have close friends with ties to high levels of MSU and they still have to get through the Nassar problems. Izzo is not completely off the hook there yet.

If Tony wasn't at Virginia, I think they'd come to Wisconsin, whether the coach was Ryan or Gard. But if you are making the decision based on trying to maximize your NBA potential, the fact that guys like Joe Harris and Malcolm Brogdon have turned into much better NBA players than Sam Dekker (Frank's been OK when he's gotten the chance) has to play into the consideration.

JP usually has some good takes and perspectives but he’s way off on the Hauser players ending up in Madison.  I guess anything is possible but the likelihood is very low.

The Bennett’s are legendary in the Stevens Point area with Dick and his brother Jack coaching at UWSP.   As mentioned Tony also played HS ball there.   You have to think that’s going to be a big factor for the Hauser duo who have carved out their own b-ball legacy in the Point area.

I think the likelihood is much higher than you think.  The kids will do what is best for them, but from a family source.. i’ve heard UW is the favorite at this point.

Things could change though.. but I think they end up at UW, that 2020 team would be stacked.

Just a little side note, Sam’s girlfriend is a volleyball player at UW.  Not that it will make the decision... it cant hurt though.

I think I also saw a press release, somewhere that said Ethan Happ was not invited to the NBA combine. Anyone else see that?

Great college player. If he could even shoot 25% from the 3 point line or 60% from the line, he probably gets an invite.

He was at Wisconsin for 5 years and never learned to shoot outside of 5 feet. Either he didn't work hard enough at it (unlikely) or he never be able to have the ability. Neither one is a good sign for a future professional career.
