And when I think about that statement from Nkrumah, I think about the country where I now live. This past year, I've been struck by the angry words and physical attacks aimed at people because of their race, their gender, their religious affiliation. I wonder if all Americans today share the ideology in the Declaration of Independence: "...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Ha ha, like this is EVER going to be true.........

Some people — presumably still in the dark about NPR’s Fourth of July exercise — assumed those lines were references to President Trump and the current administration
Obviously, they felt a little guilty about their ruler.
Is that LA in the smog getting vaporized or did I not drop enough acid? Forget politics we will all want to nuke LA once Lavar Ball runs his mouth and carries on heaven forbid the Lakers get back to relevance. Then again, a preemptive strike can fix all that!!!
