Started slower than the Packers did.
Fran McCaffery gets a double technical, ejection. Brust makes all 4 FT and the Badgers take the lead.
If the assistants do not hold him back, he knocks out one of the zebras, no doubt.
Tough game but the Badgers pull off the win. Bad scoring night for Dekker, but he comes thru at the end with a 3 and then a 3 point play. Travon did not play well either, but Gasser and Brust made up for him.
Really impressed with Iowa. They are long and better coached than they have been in a long time.
That being said, big Fran owes his team an apology, he took them right out of the game. Stripes was calling this one (painfully) weird tonight, but a grown man shouldn't act that stupid.
2012 Trae came out to play tonight. He just gets that look and you know he is going to force a shot. I worry when I see that look.

good analysis EKB. I agree about the refs...holy cow...they didn't know what to call when...I thought the Badgers got screwed on a lot of calls before the double T....after that...the refs were trying to keep it even but didn't know what or how to call a foul...very inconsistent....
So happy for the Badgers kinda close call, but they pulled it off.

Iowa has gotten better but they need to learn how to win these types of games, if that makes sense. They made a lot of mistakes in the game and at time lost their poise and that was the difference in the game. The Badgers have been there and done that so they didn't get phased when they got down by double digits.
The Big Ten is going to be really interesting this season
