Heads up Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Kobe Bryant. Tim Tebow is America's new favorite active athlete, according to the results of the latest ESPN Sports Poll.

Tebow beat out Bryant, Rodgers and Manning as favorite active athlete for December, 2011. The poll included roughly 1,500 interviews with Americans aged 12 and older around the U.S.

With less than two full NFL seasons under his belt, Tebow climbed to No. 1 faster than any other athlete in the history of the 18-year old poll, according to ESPN. He's the second Denver Broncos quarterback to finish No. 1 after John Elway.

Tebow's the 11th athlete -- and 6th NFL QB-- to be named favorite athlete for at least one month in the poll that dates back to 1994. With Tebow-mania in full swing, Tebow will take on Tom Brady's New England Patriots in an AFC Divisional playoff this Saturday night.

Having been in Vegas since Monday for the annual CES, I was afforded a unique opportunity to watch the taping of "Sports Nation" live from the convention center. And spent about 10 minutes watching. I will answer your obvious questions right off the bat.

1. Yes, it sucks that the porn convention is not in town until next weekend. Horribly.
2. I don't find Beadle that attractive, and in person confirmed that further.
3. Cowherd looks douchier in person than on TV. Didn't think he could pull that off, but dammit he did.
4. I really missed the porn stars, since they always stayed at the same hotel I'm at - The Venetian.
5. Why yes, I did lob bags of urine at Cowherd.
6. Samsung's new OLED TV's are amazing.
