I'm planning to drive up to GB for the full pads practice tomorrow, but I haven't been there in years, definitely prior to the Ray Nitschke practice field. Would appreciate it if anyone in the know could help me out with a few questions...

Where exactly is Nitschke Field, relative to Lambeau and the old Clark Hinkle Field?

The practice is supposed to start at 8:15AM, but how early do the players usually start riding bikes over? And related to that, how early do you recommend getting there before everything starts?

How crowded is it at Nitschke Field? Does the fan seating usually fill up completely?

I read on the Packers website that coolers, stadium seats, etc are allowed...any other tips I should know in advance?

Thanks!

Brian

P.S. I'll have my TimesFour hat on so if you're there and see me, be sure to say hello!

Tip I have found useful, in TC often alot of things are going on at one time on the same field. Fans (I did this) tend to want to watch all of it.

But when you do this, you get bits of this and pieces of that and it's harder to make good observations. What I found helpful was to watch one thing going on and watch those players. So if the WR's are doing drills, I would watch them and see how they were doing. Also, it's fascinating to hear position coaches coach.

You can probably hear Kevin Greene from the street. He screams. And screams LOUD. Trgovac is also pretty vocal. I didn't hear Capers much and MM tends to be an observer.

If you hear MM and he's loud, it's not a good day.

If you're there to just take it all in, grab a seat and enjoy. If you're there to really observe players, I wouldn't recommend sitting. If you notice the media across the field, they never sit down. They constantly walk around.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the info.

Regarding walking around, do they allow you to do that much in the bleacher seating area or do you mean walking around the outside of the fences? My Dad and I are bringing a considerable amount of camera equipment so we'll probably set up shop among the seating somewhere and then get up an move around for a few shots as needed.

LOL about MM by the way!
