Tooner used to have a website called packersgameday that had a page explaining the best neighborhood areas around Lambeau Field to park for free on the street and have relatively easy access to roads out of town, on the north side of the stadium. But it appears his website no longer exists and I never copied down all that info. Any chance someone saved it or that Tooner is still around?

Just get to Lambeau early (maybe 1:30p) and all of the street parking is free. There's no reason to pay. I parked about three blocks from the stadium the last time I was up there right in front of someone's house. His driveway and lawn were empty. After the game, his driveway and lawn were filled at $5 a pop.
Thanks PackLand, I appreciate the reply. I know that street parking is free and I've been to Lambeau many times but usually I'm parking in one of the tailgate lots so I don't recall where exactly I've parked on the street before. Tooner had great advice on specific blocks to park on and streets to use after the game to avoid traffic.
When we go (coming from south of Green Bay), we take Ashland Avenue to left on Lombardi, turn right on Gross Ave. and then turn left on one of the streets along there that look like there's an open spot. We park so we can make a right on Oneida, right on Mason and then 57 out of town.
Thanks QuietOne! That looks really close to Lambeau and convenient for the route you described. How early do you need to get there to find a spot on those streets off Gross? My recollection (admittedly from long ago) is that street parking fills up fast within several blocks in every direction of the stadium.
I've parked on Gross between Raleigh and Thorndale about 2 hours before KO for December games in the past. Plenty of street parking as I mentioned. The walk carry a bundle of blankets really warms the body up. Also parked on Barberry near Marvelle.
Thanks again PackLand.
I've never heard about no-parking signs like Caveman mentions...can anyone verify or deny?
There is tons of free street parking around the stadium. But it fills up eary on late afternoon games.
Yes, that's it! Thanks GBFanForLife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome, thanks Boris.
Oneida has the no parking on game day signs - mainly because it becomes a main one-way street heading away from the stadium.
You will want to park on residential streets in Ashwaubenon, not Green Bay. That's the parking disparity as far as signs go in parts of Green Bay.
Park on Blue Ridge, Valley View, or April Lane.
Edit: Link titles not working?
I think that would be a mess trying to get north to Mason to cross over to 57 to avoid traffic. Why not park on one of the cross streets off of Gross, north and slightly east of Lambeau?

I used to live in that neighborhood. Extremely easy exit through the back on Marlee, Orie, Cormier, or Pilgrim Way--all eventually funneling to 172 to go around the city rather than through it. They also put two new back exits to Lombardi near 41. It really just depends on whether you want to go through town or around town after a game. Plus, it's where Kroll's and their free pregame party is.
Invariably, no matter where you park you'll hit traffic if you drag your feet leaving. If you're quick to your car it's smooth sailing.
I park there every home game.
Okay, thanks much.
Side streets? Every game I go to.

And ironically I was in Oneida when I saw said signs so therefore....my bad
