I can't stand the Vikings. Their stadium, their fans, their helmets, their former QB's, Paul Allen, that stupid horn, Jarred Allen, Chuck Foreman, Sammy White, Joey Browner, Chris Carter, Anthony Carter, Randy Moss, that trash bag roof, Zygi, Robert Smith, John Randle, Paul Krause, Tarkenton, Schaincoe, Chilly, Yary, and Ahmad Rashad. All of them!

Christian Ponder - What Tim Tebow does when he's starving and the only place open is Hooters.

Beat the Vikings asses. Again!

Don't fall asleep on Wright. Kid has some skills.
I'm with ya Chilli. But I had a scintilla of respect for Chuck Foreman, Robert Smith, and Ahmad Rashad (while he was playing, afterward, not so much). Foreman was a beast on a team I hated and the other two carried themselves with a bit of class. Otherwise, it's nothing but loathing.

Agree with the above & would add Sammy White. Like 'em, hate 'em or whatever, they were very good.

Love the Hochuli drinking game. I'm going to try it!
@WesHod
Got extended look at #Packers practice today. No Matthews, Driver, Quarless, Wilson, White, Shields or Woodson. Greg Jennings still going

@TyDunne
RT @StribDW Vikings practice wasn't open long this morning. But long enough to notice Percy Harvin's absence.
@TyDunne
Driver (questionable), Jennings (probable), MD Jennings (probable), Manning (doubtful), Matthews (out), Newhouse (probable), Pickett (prob), Quarless (out) Richardson (quest) Shields (out) White (out), CJ Wilson (out), Woodson (out)

@jasonjwilde
McCarthy on Matthews: "He's making progress, he's just not ready to play."

@WesHod
MM: Donald Driver needs rest, rested him all week. See where he is tomorrow

‏@TyDunne
MM on Jennings: He looks good. Going through some of the bumps you have the first week. Has spring in his step.

@jasonjwilde
McCarthy: Flow of the game will dictate how much @GregJennings will play.

@WesHod
MM: I felt the week of preparation has been good. A lot of energy. Wednesday practice was a little up and down.

@WesHod
MM: Casey Hayward is definitely doing a good job in the slot. I like the rotation throughout defensive personnel.

@WesHod
MM on young DL: It's a starting point for their offense. They're all going to have an opportunity to show who's the best

@TyDunne
MM: Cut back on practice 17 minutes. Late in season. Coming off Sunday night game. You adjust as you go but this was planned.

I would add Randle. Guy was a heck of a player and was a blast to watch his highlights when he was miked up. Got a big kick out of his commercial chasing the chicken with the Farve jersey.

Randle was a maniac and I think one of the best interior DL of this era but often gets overlooked by self promoting guys like Warren Sapp.

Chris Doleman was pretty damn good and how can you forget Randal McDaniel?

As for the IR related talk, we all know MM likes to play possum with injuries but I am completely puzzled with the CMIII injury. He's missed almost a month now, correct? That seems a little lengthy for a "hamstring sprain" or whatever he's been dealing with.

Completely stealing this.

Me too!!! That's outstanding!!!
pondering Ponder, looking for guidance in all the wrong places.

Darin Gantt at PFT:

The Vikings are still trying to figure out whether Christian Ponder can be a franchise-level quarterback.

Toward the end, Ponder wants to meet the lsat guy the Vikings had who met that description.

Ponder told Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com he was trying to arrange a meeting this offseason with Brett Favre, to pick his brain for help taking the next step in his own development.

“We’re going to bring that up and try to take advantage of that,” Ponder said.

Never cared for the team in the least, but respected the old-school, Bud Grant-era players, with the BIG exception of Tarkenton. But since then... very few of those types have played for Minny.
I'm with you, Timmy. I could respect the Purple People Eaters and guys like Bill Brown and Scott Studwell; man, they were tough-nosed, hard-hitting, snot-nosed football players. Other than those old Bud Grant teams, the Queens have been punks, thugs, and whiny little b*****s.

If the Packers don't get some guys back soon, this "stretch run" will be meaningless. Must win today.
