Highest betting line ever

Feely is starting. I would be willing to think the line should be at least 30.

As a gambler, I'm tempted to take the money line.

(But I won't.)

Imagine just playing to stop the point spread.

I wonder how far back they consider "ever" to be. I'm not sure where this guy got his figures, but scanning through his website, we see:

1961: Green Bay (-26) 28, Minnesota 10
1966: Green Bay (-26) 56, Atlanta 3
1966: Baltimore (-28) 19, Atlanta 7
1966: Cleveland (-26) 49, N.Y. Giants 40
1967: Oakland (-26) 31, Miami 17
1976: Pittsburgh (-27) 42, Tampa Bay 0

There is no recorded history before the Super Bowl era.

Exactly. The Pats are going to lose sometime. And it's going to be a huge upset when they do. By definition, a huge upset occurs when it's unexpected. May not happen this season, but it will happen eventually.

Biggest money line I took, was Packers over the Niners in Jan. 2006. The Pack was 9.5 point underdogs and the moneyline was +270

doesn't matter i'm sure when they play the jets and the dolphins the spread will get close, if not beyond, 30 points.

What will the betting line be for the Jets game? Don't they have the Dolphins left also? Those games may have point spreads in the 30s.

I remember it well. Bunch of Niner fans at my local bar were running smack so I bet them all straight up. Any amount they wanted, my only condition was that they not bet what they couldn't pay. Out of $650.00 in bets, only one guy paid up, for $50.00. Pathetic.
