Just officially announced, Charles Woodson makes the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
As should be. One of the best players I've ever seen on the field.
Unf-inbelieveable. John Lynch makes the Hall of Fame.
What a joke. He couldn’t carry LeRoy Butler’s jock.
I've always considered Lynch a borderline HOFer. No real issue with him getting in but before LeRoy is definitely a joke.
Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998 but invented the labeau Leap as a high school senior.
Who's the brain wizard that came up with Woodson inventing the Lambeau Leap?
In any even, that is not what Butler should be remembered for. He should be remembered for reinventing the safety position in the NFL, and being the FIRST 20 sack 20 interception player in NFL history. John Lynch couldn't carry his jock.
Also, did anyone else forget that Wood had 9 pick sixes in 6 years with the Packers?
Ooo, brain wizard. Can I use that?

Geez, Butler gets no respect.
But I really like "brain wizard." Can I use that, too?
By all means both of you can use that. I copped it from Chad Hartman.
Chad Hartman? I may have to go with brain magician.
Great to see Woodson get in on the first ballot. Absolutely deserving of that. Sad to see Lynch get in before Butler but I'm not surprised and it's one the huge issues I have with the football hall of fame. The voters are drawn to players who are either in the media or are media friendly. Story out of Denver was that Terrell Davis' candidacy got a huge boost when he started going on radio shows and TV. That's just crap.
But congratulations to Woodson. Crazy to think that no other team thought he was worth signing as a CB back in 2006. Props to TT for seeing something that 31 other GMs didn't.
What you have are a bunch of so called "journalists" that really have no clue -- it's obviously become a popularity contest now. Might as well start calling it "The Pro Bowl Hall of Fame"
