How would your game prediction change if the game was at Lambeau?

We lost.

Green Bay by 13 in Green Bay.

Green Bay by 8 in Atlanta.

I don't predict and it doesn't matter where the game is played.

I think that's a prediction.

I like our chances better in the dome.

I am also glad the team has this one indoors, even though it is an away game.

They've had 3 hard-fought, freezing-cold outdoor games in a row with playoff-type intensity. This week, MCarthy gets to limit reps, and all of them are inside.

I'm all for old-school and Lambeau would be an advantage, but I'm O.K. with a dome this time. Plus they've already been there this year, so the whole trip should have a ring of familiarity to it.

If the game were in Green Bay, the Packers would only lose 97-3. Since it's in Atlanta, they're losing 197-0.

Well, remember the Ice Bowl. There were more Texans on the Packers team that year than there were on the Cowboys!

You may be right to some degree. I don't view the Georgia Dome like I view the Dump on a playoff Sunday. The Pack is a fast team and it almost seems like the Birds would be better suited for messy surface. That being said, of course the Pack would be better off at home. 2007 NFC Championship (had a ticket for the Seattle game that year but couldn't attend)

Home field didn't save us in any of those games, even the one we won.

My prediction is that the better team will win, barring some unusual calls or brain farts - Per the recent SI article, home field means a little less unless the refs blow calls. BTW, Packers are the better team at this point IMHO.

I do think the Vegas odds would change a little, maybe enough to make this a pick 'em.

I wouldn't change my prdiction at all; we can kick their asses in ATL just as well as we could at Lambeau.
The only difference would be Falcons fans would leave cold.

The ATL style of play favors them on a slow track, and GB wants to get out and throw the ball all over the place.

I also think the Packers defense is much more effective indoors where their athletes like Matthews and Tramon and Shields and Collins and Raji can get that extra step and burst.

This current Packers team is actually much more structured to play on turf and under good conditions.
