I didn't even think of our friends in the Carolinas, WOLFPACK; my apologies. Glad to hear you and yours are safe & sound nonetheless.
Likewise to any friends in VA, MD, DC that may get any inclement weather from the storm.
Just back from checking on house. Power just came back but no water so another night in the hotel. Lots of branches in the yard and about 10 neighbors have trees down. My biggest issue was being assaulted by Spanish Moss:
Better than being assaulted by Randy Moss.
We have a generator which can run the well pump just in case we're without power that long, but I presume you're on municipal water so a generator wouldn't help with that.
Of course, the last time we had to run the generator for a long time, during Tropical Storm Irene in 2011 when the power was out for 46 hours, Mom's dementia had advanced far enough that she couldn't understand why the AC wasn't working.
Thankfully we weren't hit as hard as, say, Prattsville:
Glad everyone is safe!

There won't be any Spanish moss when Don takes over
Looks like you dodged a bullet BK, I hope you and your family are safe and well and all the rest of the X4er's that had to deal with Matt
good news if there is such a thing - with all the damage that thing has caused
Glad to hear the damage wasn't too bad for you, BK. My sister in St. Augustine stayed home and didn't evacuate. She is a Dog Rescuer and had too many animals to care for so she hunkered down. She said it was scary...but no real damage to her home either.
One of our daughters lives in NC just north of Charlotte. On radar they were getting prolonged periods of heavy rain. I talked with her earlier in the week, but haven't been able to talk to her today. I assume she is ok. Today is her birthday and she just may have been busy.
