Another cool article on Jordy- this from tyler dunne at JSO

...That deceptive speed keeps burning defenses.

"Dating back to Week 16 of last season, Nelson has been one of the best receivers in the NFL. Starting with a 45-17 flogging of the New York Giants at Lambeau Field, Nelson has caught 34 passes for 610 yards and five touchdowns in an 8-0 span for the Packers, leapfrogging Donald Driver (27-305-0) and James Jones (18-204-3) as the go-to option opposite Greg Jennings (41-686-4)."

Sure, he's underestimated.

"As a few people in the locker room have informed me, it's probably because of my skin color," he said. "I'm a little taller. I don't look fast. But my stride catches up to people once I get going."

Racist.

Is it just me or does anybody else wonder why Clay Matthews, who I imagine grew up in lilly white rich suburbia, the of he son of a millionaire, speaks like in was raised in Harlem?

I was raised on the edge of "The Hood" and I speak the Queens's English------what up with that?
I am a huge Jordy fan. What a compliment to Jennings! Good size, speed and great attitude - he is definitely Packer People and I hope TT keeps him around for years to come. My opinion, Jordy has proven himself to be, at the very least, a solid two receiver. Question: How fast is this guy! He has to be faster than 4.5.
Concur on the long strider comment
It takes him awhile to get up to speed, but he is plenty fast

He's still getting better and gets to study with Driver & Jennings

GB will probably sign him to a long term deal before the year is out

Humble and productive. No doubt in my mind TT hangs on to this guy for the long haul.
Jordy's definitely Packer people. He's got big play potential, and great chemistry with AR-12. Perfect compliment for Greg Jennings.

If this offense can stay healthy (a big knock on wood), there's no telling how many points we could score.
My season ticket-holding brother sat at his table for the season-opener lunch.

Brother's convinced that Jordy wants to stay in Green Bay. When he asked him what his major was in college, he said, "Football."

Don't let him get away, TT.

Jordy has a chance to be the "Larry Bird" of WR's

That's a bold statement. Larry Bird is considered on of the best Basketball Players of all time. So you think Jordy has a chance to be one of the best receivers of all time?

Jennings is clearly better and up to this point Driver has been more reliable on third downs.

I don't see it. Beebe was a shorter, quicker slot type receiver where as Jordy is a much bigger long strider.

But they are both white and played WR for the Packers.
He's really starting to produce. I dogged him his first 2 years because in his second year he really wasnt producing the way I thought he should have as a backup receiver. I didnt see things really clicking with him, but halfway through the season last year you could really see the lightbulb go on and this kid has hit his stride. Although, he still doesn't get the targets he probably should get, he has made the most of them since mid-last year.

Keep it up Jordy.
Bust I believe was your phrasing. Who would ever think a rookie would develop into a solid receiver?

Go ****ing figure.

Get back to the Manny board you pusillanimous puke. Maybe you can throw some more generic **** at the wall and tell us you said differently.

I bet your pastor is the only one that doesn't think you're a pulsating purple hemorrhoid on the plight of humanity.
