Well, my team made too many mistakes to win today and you can't do that against a solid team like the Niners and expect to win (even though we almost pulled it off). I now think it's time to part ways with Gregg Williams. I'm not interested in a defense with exotic blitzing schemes. I want a defense like the Niners that plays fundamentally-sound football and stops teams in their tracks. I would love to see Steve Spagnuolo or even Jack Del Rio as Saints DC. Time to get back to basics on that side of the ball.

I'll be pulling for you guys the rest of the way, so..........

GO PACK GO!!!!

To be honest, Im relieved the Saints are knocked out.

5 turnovers and still put up 32 and coulda won shows how
explosive they are. Brees will give you a bunch of opportunities to pick him off and SF capitalized on em. still surprised their D gave up 2 TDS to Alex Smith at the end.

Congrats on an excellent year. knowing Brees and that coachign staff theyll
be right back in the thick of it next year. Im sure there are still a few stat records out there to be had Wink

BOOO!!! Terrible take.

If they played, Packers would've beaten the Saints again. You underestimate the Packers.

It also shows how pitiful the 49'ers are on offense. If that had been Green bay they turned the ball over 5 times to, what would the final score be?

There goes my bets of Saints winning the NFC & Super Bowl. I'm still alive with the Packers though.

Still a good season Armored. We, as Packer fans, know what it's like to be on the short end of an instant classic. The game was excellent.
Without question, I was rooting hard against the Saints after watching how the last few weeks they decided to go for offensive records outside of the context of the game. What I mean by that is, the games were already over, they just wanted to pump up their stats.

That said, after watching yesterday's game, the Saints are one of the best offensive teams I've ever seen. That 49ers defense slugged them in the mouth, and the Saints still found a way to put up over 30 points on them on the road. Very impressive.

The Saints bet that Alex Smith couldn't beat them, and probably 4 out of 5 times they'd be right. But yesterday was that 1 time in 5 where Smith had a career type day. The Saints looked like the better team, but didn't bring their A game and it cost them in a 1 and done situation.
