There's plenty of blame to go around. But when a Badger defence gives up 180+ yards on the ground they are doomed. That's against a team with no QB that needs to be defended.

As far as Locke, he should have been getting some snaps against the cupcakes the Badgers played so he doesn't have to come in against Iowa.

Our OL is terrible. Poor execution and a bunch of penalties.

I'm definitely not impressed with either coordinator.

Points are hard to come by against Iowa and not taking that chip shot FG in the 1st quarter played a huge role. I could see going for it on 4th down when they were around the 35 earlier in that drive but the 2nd time they needed to take the points.

Iowa Kicker is good. That 48 yd FG would have been good from 65

Everything about Iowa is good except their skill position players on offense and that's primarily due to injury. All the little stuff they excel at PK, punter, coverage teams, the guys in the trenches that nobody hears of, etc.

Allen should be embarrassed for himself.  As should Fickell and rest of coaching staff.

In his defense..it seems like he’s been hurt all year.

It's not as if you could stop penalties either.

That my friend..is the best burn ever.

On the other hand…penalties were my specialty…Milwaukee Riverside is eternally grateful for my 3 saves in PK’s in the State Championship game in 1977. Bruce Springsteen singing “Glory Days” is my soundtrack.

If he’s been hurt then bench his ass

For a guy with his talent he’s either a flake or pussy or both.  So glad he went out of his way to declare he was coming back.

The Iowa RB has half the talent but 2x the heart.  How nice.

There are a lot of weak minded players on this team.  Maybe Fickell should call Coach Prime for advice.

Hey.

Iowacheese , Packerhawk and ElKa Beta live in Iowa.

Nevermind.

The thing that still confuses me is why not go with what you have? I get Fickell wants his "air raid" offense and the defense to feature man coverage, but he didn't Deion the transfer portal. Why not delay your big scheme changes until you have the players?

They always seem to go back to the running game late, then abandon it when they have some success.

JFC ammo.  Are you actually suggesting Locke was more effective than Mordecai?

Did you watch any of the game today?

Keep driving around HWY 35 getting a hard on for someone with an Iowa license plate.

When you consider Locke was thrown into the game with no preparation, probably did not practice against the Iowa defense scheme in getting ready last week, and is a red shirt freshman and not a 5th year player, yes I say Locke was the better QB today.  Did you watch the 1st half or were you sleeping off last night's drunk?

It was PackerRick that wanted Locke.

I still do. This team is going nowhere so they might as well play for next year. Locke has 3 more years of eligibility, Mordecai has none.

How many points did the Badgers score when Mordecai was playing? When is the last time a team won a game with zero points? I saw enough of the Badgers and Mordecai after a couple weeks to feel that experiment was a waste of time.

Mordecai is turnover prone, inaccurate, and has happy feet. He's more suited for Dancing with the Stars.

Mordecai finished 12-20 with 106 yards passing and 8 yards rushing on 4 carries. Locke was 15-30 for 122 yards and -1 yards rushing, with the pick at the end.  So, yeah, they both sucked, but it's probably easier to say that Locke played better due to the reasons that Rick pointed out above.  With all the hype that these guys put out for every transfer signing, I was hopeful that Fickell and company were just going to hit the ground running, but it's pretty obvious that it is going to take some time.  Man, there were a lot of moments today, though, where it didn't look like they had a clue.  Hopefully that gets better.
