Dude, there isn't a team in the NFL that has "a dozen impact players". At best, you get 3-5 impact players, and hope that the other "guys" are enough to be assignment sure and complement your "impact" players.

The 49ers have nine players on the All Pro rosters, 1st and second team. Add a guy like Kaepernick and you're getting real close to a dozen. I guess no team has that right?

And I'm with some of the guys and girls here who went through more than two and a half decades following the 1967 season without coming anywhere near a championship. A buddy of mine is the same age as I am, and he's a die-hard Detroit Lions fan. You know the Lions -- 1957 World Champions, none since and haven't come close since. He was ONE when they won their last title. Another friend of mine is a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. You know the Browns -- 1964 World Champions, none since, and haven't come close since.

We've had it pretty good since the mid 1990's.
