Anybody confident Mertz is going to lead an answering drive?
Then why the fuck is he in the game?
Chryst, you suck.

Those missed first half points may come back to haunt them
Mertz is back to being a deer in the headlights.
It’s like the offense stayed in the locker room. And the play caller too
Ferentz is not concerned with our passing game
Chryst play calling:
1st: Run for 2
2nd: Incomplete pass
3rd: Incomplete pass.
Every series.
Jack Coan makes that throw to Ferguson. Mertz had Davis even more open underneath.

No opposing coach is concerned with our passing game.
Maybe Chryst should have stayed in the locker room
Mike Samuel makes that throw to Ferguson
Dirty, but unfortunately, legal block on Benton.
Yep. My advice to me is to start drinking heavily.
Is it me or did that OL seem to purposely roll into Benton on that play?
No downside for Iowa to go for it. It's not the Badgers are going to gain more than 5 yards on the ensuing drive anyway.

100%. The announcer (Orlovsky) was going to say it was a dirty play, but then cut his sentence short and just said "Oh"
Yeah legal to block low but he definitely had an extra roll there
1970s BIg Ten, Woody Hayes, play-calling on both sides. Do not throw the ball unless you absolutely have to. Iowa runs a FB into the middle of the line where about 7 Badgers guys are lined up.
Sorry Melusi, Allen should be the lead back now.
Mertz actually looked the safety off there. That's not typical for him.

Yeah, 1:30 daily drinking start time might not be a good idea.
Full disclosure I started at 11.

Yes. Allen has the potential to be starting RB in the NFL.
Mellusi isn't bad, but his ceiling is more backup RB/NFL special teams.
Gruesome injury to Cundiff. I think it's a broken leg, especially the way Ferguson reacted almost immediately.
Mellusi gets tackled at the 25 on that play. Allen gets 13…

AM or years old?
He just doesn’t seem like he sees the holes as good as Allen. He seems like he’s hit right away or looking to cut back right away instead of letting the blocks develop.
AM.
There aren’t many 250lb guys that have that burst and power and footwork. We need to remember this a freshman that played one season in HS as a running back. The game he had against powerhouse Kimberly showed me he could play at a high level.
You get him more reps and experience and he will get better. This team got immediately better once he started getting reps.
He is a guy the defense has to worry about. Chas, not so much.

I was looking away when it happened. Sounds like it was good I did.
Chaz just doesn’t have the size and strength. Neither did Berger. But he’s a solid #2 guy.
Daybe did. JT did. Ball did. Clay did. So does Allen.
Defenders know they have to tackle a guy like that low but he’s got nifty footwork and vision and enough speed to runaway from guys.
Loved how Mertz emoted after the interference call….
Da….
Cmon D

May not be too early.
Must be something in the Wisconsin water that Packers and Badgers are dropping like flies.
Holy shit…Burks!
Easy to see why Jim Leonhard is in high demand.
Solid win. Now run the table.
