Packers will not lose at Minny. The Viking fans can hope, pray and circle the wagons but the Packers with the troops back will have a beat down. Packers will win by 20 pts. Packers are peaking and Minny still needs a QB.
Can't see GB losing, but even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then. Don't discount Peterson wanting the record, and if he breaks off five yards a crack, and they get their D linemen going, it could spell trouble for us. We need to get lots of three-and-outs to give our D a rest, and our O line needs to be tougher than they have been for me to feel comfortable.
Peterson will either keep them in the game or be the reason they lose. Much like Barry Sanders, I think Peterson is going to be looking for the homerun every run. He's either going hit those homeruns or, as Sanders often did, put his team in really bad spots because he lost yards trying for the homerun.
They're not losing unless they play ridiculous bad & turn the ball over 4 or 5 times.

Stop the insanity. Did you not see the game last week? That was a complete destruction of a weaker team but one that wasn't playing THAT badly

Stop the run, don't turn the ball over & watch Rodgers do his MVP thing in the dome.

It's going to be a beautiful thing.

Jacksonville was dead in the water when we played them, and has been for some time. I think Munchak is a dead coach walking, and they will get someone in there next year to run the option like Fox did in Denver and Shanny does in Washington as J'ville prepares for Tebow. Both Fox and Shanny were smart enough to go with the strengths of their QB, but I don't think Munchak will go down the spread path. If he were smart enough, he would have switched by now since Gabbert is a better runner than many QBs and would probably thrive in an option offense, much like he did at Missouri. All Munchak had to do was follow Fox's and Shanahan's lead.

Don't get me wrong; I do not think GB will lose, but neither do I think it will be a blowout. I think we will revert to our winning-close personality, as we have been for much of this year. I just don't want it to come down to anyone having to make a 56-yard field goal to win at the very end -- their kicker is too good and ours is too bad right now.
The emotion from the 1992 game is certainly in the memories of those of us who have been fans forever... but the reality is there are not many on the Packers starting lineup who were even THREE when that game took place.

So I hope they really want to win for THEMSELVES... and not for us. Regardless... GO PACK!!!

Dang. I am losing it. Too many eggnogs have affected the ol' noggin and you're right, Henry, it's tough to keep the really ****ty teams apart. Sorry, and thanks for the correction(s), folks. Next time I'll sober up before posting up... Big Grin
After reading quotes from the D after the game, I sure don't feel any better about their chances in a rematch vs AP.

It seems like the D was almost always in the right place for the run but just missed too many tackles. At this point they are who they are and I don't see their tackling improving a whole lot next weekend and AP will get over 150 again. I think the game will come down to who makes fewer mistakes, just like it did yesterday.

That makes me sad. However, Dick Jauron and Dave Wannstedt are both available. I have faith that if Phil Emery doesn't do the right thing and hire one of those Chicago Bears legends, he'll hire someone just as good.
