Thanks for the feedback. Go Pack Go!

Perhaps he makes the Craig Biggio wing. Not quite the Willie Mays wing and certainly not the Barry Bonds wing.
Kind of late to the party.
But ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And don't let Debbie Downer tschmack get to you. He's just "telling like it is." At least in his warped opinion.
Anything can happen in the playoffs. Errors like we saw from the Cubs last night, injuries, players and managers getting kicked out of games, almost anything. So let the fun begin!! Win the wild card and then on to L A. Now that Canha, Santana, and Donaldson has settled in, this is a different team that got swept in L A in Aug. Houser, Miley, and Burnes pitched that series. It won't be the 1st 2 in the playoffs. And Burnes held them to 2 hits in 7 innings in his start. And Freddie Peralta held them to 3 hits in 6 innings in his win back in May at A M F. Yep, we have a chance.
The Brewers are a threat in any playoff series because of their top 3 starters. The bullpen is top notch, they play very good defense, and they can now hit just enough to be dangerous.
Looking at the Dodgers and Braves, both teams have taken serious hits in their starting rotations recently.
Yep, you might as well enjoy the ride, Get hot at the right time anything is possible,

I think their chances in the playoffs will come down to whether we get the July version of Christian Yelich (OPS of 1.015 which was similar to 2018-2019) or the August and early September version of Yelich (OPS of 690).
You have to assume it was back problems starting in early August. If you get the superstar version of Yelich it completely changes the ceiling of the whole team. I wonder if you just sit him out for the last few games of the season and optimize the chances of him being healthy for the playoff run.
Yelich matters but nothing like he did before the trade deadline. The addition of Santana, Canha, and Taylor returning makes the lineup much different. We essentially didn't even have a DH before the deadline. Now Tellez, who was once a prominent part of the lineup, now is a platoon at DH. What the Brewers really need is for Adames to get it going. That would lift everybody.
Garett Mitchell went 4 -10 in his last AAA at bats. He may very well replace Tellez on the roster for the playoffs. His speed on the bases could be a difference maker.
Look, itâs great they made the playoffs yet again. I just donât like how the Brewers are handling Counsell. I hate the fact these reports are coming out right before the postseason and the team sure doesnât seem all that interested in keeping him around.
Need to enjoy this run as itâs very possible this is a much different looking team in 2024, skipper and pitching.
Got any links to the disrespect of Counsell? I have not seen a thing.
When you look farther ahead this team should compete for a few years. You have Turang, Frelick, Monasterio, and Wiemer around for a while unless traded for pitching. Also upcomers Tyler Black and Jackson Chourio. Add Contreras under team control for several years and the future looks bright on the offense.
As for pitching there is upcomers Jacob Misiorowski , Robert Gasser, Carlos F. Rodriguez as well as the youngsters in the bull pen. I'm not giving up on this team for the future.
I've seen nothing about Counsell being disrespected or unhappy. I just can't see Counsell managing anywhere else. Brewers or retirement is all I see.
The Brewers are really throwing the B team out there today. Both Anderson and Tellez in the lineup. Canha, Yelich, Santana, and Adames all taking the day off.

Maybe they are all hung over.
Ken Rosenthal and Jon Heyman (among others) have been reporting a number of things specific to Counsellâs future.
Those 2 articles are nothing but conjecture by a couple of New York writers hoping to stir the pot. There is not one iota of Counsell being upset with the Brewers. IIRC Counsell himself said he would wait on a decision until the season was over. His decision will be family related, not money or what team wants him.
Agreed, I don't think his dream job is following Stearn to NY. He has talked about wanting to watch his 2 sons playing college baseball.
Hey Rick, did you see where Turang had a bunt single? Wish he would have done that in Miami.
Atlanta beats the Cubs 6-5 in 10 innings. Cubs got 1 in the 10th, Atlanta follows with 2 for the win.
3-2 Brewer win. Williams not real sharp. Walks 2 after 2 outs. After the 2 walks the next batter hits the 1st pitch for a fly out to left.
Mitchell picks up where he left off as a catalyst. Burnes has given up 5 hits,4 with an exit velocity around 80, but pitched his way out of a couple jams. He got to the 200 strike out plateau for the season.
Surprised he was taken out after the 4th. I thought Counsell might leave him in thru the 5th to at least get 1 more win.
The Brewers lead 3-0 despite having grounded into 4 DPs in the first 6 innings. Cards essentially putting a AAA team on the field.
Burnes was only at 66 pitches but I'm sure the thought was not to get him up in the 90s with a prolonged 5th inning. He should be well rested on Tuesday this way.
Crew shuts out the hated Card 3-0. Brewers win season series 8 games to 5!!
