Not to move the goal posts, but if I could chose Rodgers with the first pick, I would gladly take Clifton next. Prefered over Joe Thomas and Joe Flacco (for example).
I agree that the OT position can make or break your OL. 58 sacks allowed last year means we need OL help bad, although Potter and Massie (two of our youngsters) seemed to come on the second half of the season. The QB's this year all scare me, and the acquisition of Palmer gives us time to wait until next year. OT happens to be a position of need for the Cards IMO. We could move Levi Brown to guard and move Snyder to center, where he filled in last year and played his best ball.

If I am picking #1, I would have a tough choice between Luke Joeckel or Erik Fisher. I'm going with Joeckel, but it is a close call.

We pick #7, and Joeckel and Fisher will be long gone; at that slot if Warmack or Cooper are still on the board I go with Cooper, only because he fits our anticipated new blocking scheme better than Warmack. In that scenario Levi stays at OT and hopefully benefits from new line coaches, not one that watches Bruce Springsteen during the Super Bowl instead of plotting protection schemes for the second half.

I don't think this is a very good draft overall.
It's interesting. I'd call it a bit flat draft where the talent plateaus are larger and the peaks and valleys are lessened. I'd think that favors more trades than usual as the draft boards of the different teams will be much more varied. Should be more easy to move around the rounds if a team wants. Might make dropping down more likely. I'd think TT would like to add picks in a year like this where he feels he can still catch a plateau and pick up more opportunities later.
