I'd start a franchise called the Indianapolis Speedracers.

We'd be the crosstown rival of the Indianapolis Colts in the growing football market of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Our colors would be lime green, orange, and red.

We'd celebrate the vast history of automobiles and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 500.

Our quarterback would be Teddy Bridgewater and our head coach would be Bill Cowher.

We'd run the 4-3 defense and a combination of the Read Option and Run and Shoot offenses.

We'd sell jerseys, hats, and flags, to promote our team.

Great ideas rooted in love.(R)

based out of the megatropolis of  Superior, WI, the team would play in an open air stadium and be called the Supermen...  or maybe the Ice Crackers.

you would be able to bring in a cooler filled with whatever you wanted to the stadium, no glass.

there would be several large bonfire pits in the parking lot for both pre and post game partying.  as soon as snow would allow it would feature an incredible toboggan hill adjoined to the area for adults and kids alike.

I'm was thrilled to see the Browns return as an NFL Franchise.

The thought of not being able to say "I gotta' take the Browns to the Super Bowl" following a poorly prepared seafood dinner once the franchise relocated to Baltimore was terrifying. It's good to have them back.

If I'm starting my own franchise. It's going to be the Black Hill Scalpers and the stadium is a really big teepee and our mascot is Custers corpse. Screw you Goodell.

NFL responds

Wondering where the idea of Thursday night doubleheaders came from? So are we. We have not considered this

So the NFL office and their PR guy may not have considered this, but someone did.

In SBD shortly, Jerry Jones, cowboys owner and NFL Network committee chairman, says NFL is thinking about a Thurs nite doubleheader....
According to Jones the networks wouldn't have a choice?

...seeming to contradict denials from NFL PR of a WSJ report Tues that said that. Jones says nothing imminent, but easily done within...

...current TV contracts, which stretch to 2021. He says NFLPA has no say in whether league decides to move another Sun game to Thurs
