I’ll be rooting for Notre Dame as I’ve got a ton of relatives that are ND grads including my Dad. It’s funny, I used to be a Notre Dame hater but after having attended a few games with family members the last 15 years I converted.
I was surprised at how much I liked all the ND fans I met at those games. Their fanbase has a reputation of being arrogant but I didn’t feel that way at all around the fans I was hanging around with. Anyways, I don’t blame those who hate ND because as recently as 2007/2008 I couldn’t stand them either, but as I say, I’ve joined “the dark side” and am at least somewhat of a fan of the program now.
But how can you not like what Indiana has done. After being a B1G doormat for years it is a hell of a story to see them in the playoffs. I think they learned a lot from the Ohio State game and i expect them to play well and maybe pull off the upset.
I hope it is a good game to watch. Indy’s coach is not my cup of tea but he must be good. Never been a ND fan.
I always pull for Bucky to win. But am also at a least somewhat of a fan of the Golden Domers now. For some strange reason I used to hope Auburn also would be good. Still to this day.

I expected better from Indiana. Maybe it will be a tale of 2 halves game, but I doubt it.

The Indiana head coach is pretty annoying. He’s not quite at the level of PJ Fleck but he’s getting close to James Franklin and playing the victim and false bravado nonsense.
Fleck has to me at least a degree of fun in his routine, at least Franklins teams have won lots of games although not the ones that count. This guy is just annoying. He needs to win for a few more years and look like he is having some fun along the way.
He is currently #1 on my most Big 18 disliked coach ranking. Fickell is #4 and moving up the charts.
