Interesting article about Stave

The stage couldn't be bigger Saturday... he has talent. He needs to hit the open man in stride and play like a champ.

In his defense I do not recall too many open rcvrs last yr.

Stumbled across this. Gil is usually pretty solid still but guess this proves Father Time is undefeated. 

@Gil_Brandt: Been watching tape of sr QBs this week. 2 that impressed me: Carson Wentz of @NDSU and @BadgerFootball's Joel Stave. Both have good size.

Maybe the tape he saw was when Abbrederis was still there.

Would be par for the course for Stave's goofy career that he ends up having some time on an NFL roster.

Stave has an NFL arm and can make NFL throws, but only when his mechanics are straight. As soon as they're off, the ball flutters and goes off target. And by off, I mean really off.

 

If that happens it would be incredibly indictment of the coaching he had at Wisconsin.

He's had horrible coaching at Wisconsin, no speculation necessary
