Was just wondering why he hasn't been in the news for some such prevented behavior.

Not surprising. He's got a track record. He stabbed a teammate in the neck with a pair of scissors for example (#43 in this list).

Shocking!
I realize Irvin is not the bastion of moral integrity, but in this case, I kind of want to see how it plays out a bit before I put Irvin anywhere near the Sharper category.

Even if Irvin is guilty of doing this once, he's still in the Sharper category. If you do this for decades, you rise to the Cosby category.
I'll wait to see the result of this charge, but it's worth noting that Irvin has already settled an earlier allegation of sexual assault out of court. Usually, that's a "guilty but I'll pay you to keep your mouth shut" result. If it walks like a duck...

I actually agree with you on this. I always wanted to believe Irvin was at least a slightly "reformed" guy, but perhaps he still has a little too much of a flawed personality to ever be completely turned around. That said, I am holding out hope that maybe it's a scorned chick looking for a money grab or revenge...
In Sharper's case, there were so many of them, it was obvious what was really going on. Maybe that will be the case with Irvin too, I just think it's early to call it that way though.

That is one of the things he did on the way to the end zone, so there you have it.
Irvin denied the allegations, saying he was only in his hotel room with the woman for 15 minutes before leaving to catch a flight and that another man was present while she was there.
Thought of CC the second I read the article. So spot on accurate.
It's ok....he cried at his HOF induction so....it...
SAUL......GOOD...MAN
CC and Irvin can be in the HOF, but Jerry Kramer still on the outside looking in. Makes no sense.
He is a POS. If true, we at least won't see him on TV anymore. Why any network would want him representing them is beyond me. No child should watch TV and look up to this scumbag. **** him!
Marv Albert still got jobs after his conviction, didn't he?
YES!
Cheap 90s throwback.
Is wearing women's underwear part of your turn on?
Marv did not bite that woman. It was merely a rug burn from his toupee.
YES!

Jordan...... For THREE
YES!
BK keeps repeating the one word his wife has never said to him in the sack. That's alright. Henry said it to you, didn't he?
Si!
Marv could dress in drag and parade around MSG in his skivvies (yes, wearing women's underwear is part of his turn on) and it wouldn't matter to me.
The guy has a voice from God and might be one of the best basketball announcers ever.

He said that? So exotic!
