Defense has been slow to start. We're obviously going through some growing pains with Peprah and Burnett being back there in the secondary. They've missed a few assignments, and have given up some long pass plays. They will get better. If you can go through these growing pains while remaining undefeated, you're doing pretty well.

It just seems like McCarthy's teams start out not clicking on all cylinders. Some call that "slow". But slow doesn't do the malady justice - IMO. But this year that is good enough to be 4-0. I can't wait for this defense to hit it's stride. I don't know when that comes, but when it does GB should be unbeatable - again. Until then, if the offense has a subpar day, GB is beatable.
I think in a couple weeks we'll find out just how much Clay's quad has been bothering him. He hasn't used it as an excuse and the coaches have kept it quiet to protect the integrity of the game plan, but he's not 100%, if you know Clay you can see it and the defense will find another level if he finds his full vitality. This is the biggest story that's not being reported, imo.

Then why haven't we seen some of Vic? I know he is a rookie. But a healthy body can make all the difference.
