Forgot that former Packer DC Mike Pettine was now on the Bears' staff. Advisor role, I believe. Wonder if that will have any significant impact to the outcome of the game.
Had hopes for ESB.. He never put it together for whatever reason.

Barry's history as DC when facing the Bears is actually very good. His defenses have done well and IIRC he is like 6-2 facing them. If I can find the tweet about it , I will post.
Think AR will have a much bigger impact on the game than Mike Pettine.
And Bears fans can recite by heart Rodgers’ record against the Bears — 20-4 with a 107.2 passer rating (55 touchdowns, 10 interceptions) in regular-season games he started and finished.

I was happy when we drafted him and thought he had potential. Yet he has shown nothing in games. I thought that maybe his practices (that we did not see) were so good that the team liked him. He has had his chances but has shown nothing. Some players just don’t show up in real games and he is one of them.

...Packers OL have a tough test vs CHI
Some cause for concern, but am pretty confident MLF will devise a gameplan to deal with it.
More of the same. Chip.
It's the interior with Hicks that concerns me.
That and Rodgers has been getting the ball out of his hands in <2.5 seconds. As was pointed out in the 49ers game, A Nick Bosa or a K. Mack pass rusher is going to have a hard time reaching the QB when the ball is already gone by the time they find AR.
Umm why? They really must see something in EQ most observers do not
#Packers have signed WR Equanimeous St. Brown from the practice squad to the active roster and signed CB Quinton Dunbar to the practice squad. St. Brown was out of options for being elevated to the 53. Dunbar could be added to the 53 at some point. He has 31 career starts.

Facing a good DL, good news to see both these players back practicing:
Forgot to mention OT Dennis Kelly remains out. He was sidelined most of last week because of illness and a back injury. https://t.co/CWTpSLfIZ6
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) October 13, 2021
LaFleur said that both C Josh Myers and LT Elgton Jenkins will practice day and he's hopeful he'll have both Sunday. "We need to be at our best," he said of the game against the #Bears.

My god that video is awesome!
Both Germain I. and J Attaochu get put on IR for the Bears.

My first thought was “gesundheit”.
Update on King…
Cornerback Kevin King (shoulder) and offensive tackle Dennis Kelly (back) were the two players who didn’t practice. LaFleur said he’d give King the week to get ready after he missed most of the fourth quarter at Cincinnati.
According to a source, an MRI on the injured shoulder didn't show any major damage. King was injured early in the third quarter but he played until early in the fourth quarter. In 42 defensive snaps, he gave up three trivial completions.
Packers/Bears Early Injury Report
Hicks and Mack both DNP. Mack has a serious foot injury, and may not be available. No idea how bad Hicks is hurting, but any limitation to his availability would be an advantage, of course.
I see Funyuns has a knee. Again, no idea if it's serious, but he was limited. Sure hope he will be good to go.
Jenkins and Myers would certainly be welcomed additions.

So long as part of his gameplan isn't to look over at Mason Crosby curled up in the fetal position muttering like Stallone at the end of First Blood and deciding to kick a field goal on third down.
Hicks status is huge. He is really disruptive between the tackles.
You people are screwing around with Jon Gruden and Brett Favre and it's GODDAMNED BEARS WEEK.
What the hell? Indeed Vince. What the hell?
Records don't matter. 44-14 the last 29 years doesn't matter. Win 20 in a row. Lose 20 in a row. They deserve every single ounce of hate you can muster.
They go through 67 QBs in 12 years? Fuckem.
They lose players to injuries? Fuckem.
They draft Trubisky instead of Mahomes? Fuckem.

Fuck the Bears!
You gotta leave Dougie Buffone and the Score out of it. It was must listen. My brother who is a Bills fan, Happened to run across Doug and Ed on the radio one night driving to Florida. He practically drove off the road from laughing!
I would sit King if he's not close to 100%. We all know what he looks like playing hurt. No thanks!
I can't find the stat, but I am curious to know the all-time leader(s) in TD passes at Soldier Field. Favre has 25 and Rodgers has 23--they may be high up on the list.

Favre must have had a few as a Viking. As a Packer, Rodgers is 2 TD's behind Favre for most Packer QB TD's at the dump. Get 3 this week in case you never return as a Packer.
Rodgers also has 25 TD passes at Ford Field.
Crazy that 4 out of those 10 are current or former Packers. Although there are many out there that probably refuse to acknowledge that McMahon and Tomczak ever truly wore the Green and Gold.
I am somewhat excited that Daffney might be in the lineup on Sunday. I think that he is the kind of player that Matt’s offense is built on. Daguria has been a letdown. So while the Bears are trying to crash down on Rodgers Daff can help with blocking on both the run and pass game.
The real question here is where will Fields end up for all time TD passes at Lambeau Field?
I'll put the over/under at 75th.

Yes!!
Daffney has been what Deguara was supposed to be. Maybe he will be to Deguara like Tonyan was to Sternberger?
I want to see more of the Daffney, Dillon, Jones lineup.

How in the hell did we beat CHI 7 times in the 80's? Does that count ColecoVision wins?

The guys on the score totally bag on the Bears when they're crap. It's fun. They are definitely no fans of Nagy.
As bad as the ‘80s were for the Pack they did squeeze in a few wins over the Bears. I remember we swept them in ‘89, maybe ‘82 as well?
In ‘84 the Bears were so depleted at QB that Walter Payton ended up playing some QB that day. The Pack won on Rich Campbell’s prayer duck of a long pass that was enough to win. That was the last Packers’ win vs the Bears until ‘89. And that was about the only time I remember Rich Campbell ever doing much of anything.
I think the Chester Marcol blocked FG run in for TD was in the 80s as well?

Buffone and O’Bradovich were the best, they were hilarious. Even though they considered the Packers the enemy, they actually respected the Pack and their organization. I can only imagine how great those guys would have been to listen to OFF the air, I bet things got quite colorful.
Packers OL looking healthy. Dafney back, Bakh will be ready in a couple weeks.

Lord, that's embarrassing for the Bores:
Aaron Rodgers has 10 interceptions in 25 career starts against the Bears.
— Kevin Fishbain (@kfishbain) October 14, 2021
Since Rodgers took over in 2008, Bears quarterbacks have combined for 39 interceptions against the Packers:
Jay Cutler 22
Mitch Trubisky 6
Matt Barkley 5
Mike Glennon 2
Josh McCown 2
Kyle Orton 2
@Boris posted:Where does Jay Cutler rank on this list?
Let's just say there is a SIGNIFICANT dropoff from the top 2
AR - 218 (98 games)
Favre - 214 (120)
Starr - 40 (47)
Dickey - 39 (28)
Stafford - 21 (10)
...way down the list...
Cutler 4 (5)
73 players have thrown 3 at Lambeau, so to break into the top 75, Fields needs 3 TD passes
NOW A TRIVIA QUESTION
What QB has the most pass attempts at Lambeau Field without a single TD Pass.
