@BillHuberNFL:  Team still "getting information" on Reed and Wicks, LaFleur says. So, no news there but he is concerned about potential limited number of receivers for Sunday. Also means more opportunities for others.

Note: Jayden Reed was being looked at for a concussion and Wicks suffered an ankle injury last night.

Big day for Baker. Won't watch this shit show again this year. I'll be angry and impossible to be around until Thursday probably.  No more. Time to enjoy Christmas instead of watching Joe Barry crap the bed.

Bummer if neither can go. Wicks was amazing getting that early first down, and has been steadily getting better and better. Teams are getting a bead on Reed's running, but he will definitely be missed if he can't go. My guess is Watson won't be ready either. It will be the Doubs, Toure, Heath, and they will elevate DuBose and Melton. Kraft and Sims should be used more.

I'll be rolling my Giants winnings into a Bucs bet. Currently +145 or +150 on the Moneyline 😁

Can't wait to see the Packer DB's playing 10-13 yards off Mike Evans. DON'T LET THEM GET A BIG PLAY....WHATEVER YOU DO!!!

Back when the Pack played the Browns in 2021, Baker Mayfield almost singlehandedly gave the Packers the win with a whole bunch of dumb throws that led to turnovers.  I kind of get the feeling Baker may be slightly improved from what he was 2 years ago, but let’s hope he still makes some critical mistakes like he did then.

I think we’re going to need the defense to really up their level of play in this one as I firmly expect the offense to struggle with all the injured guys they might be missing for this one.

I think we're on the verge of seeing a large investment of talent into the RB room next year. I'm cool with keeping AJ around on a low cost team friendly deal and thanking 33 for his service. Dillon has that "I'll be available" quality that's invaluable.  He's not a lead back in any sense but can be a valuable compliment and position room lead for the young talent they'll bring in next year.  He's a guy you can put in and be assignment sure when the young guys mess up and a message needs to be sent. He'll never be great, but he does have really good transition value in a group. They need a stud though. I think Gute will prioritize getting a weapon to activate the play action game next year.

If I remember correctly, that Mayfield led team almost upset GB that game.

Correct, but Mayfield’s awful turnovers were the only reasons the Browns lost.  The Browns offensive line definitely dominated our defensive front 7 that night.  If Mayfield hadn’t been so terrible, the Browns probably win.

I think you are absolutely spot on with having to invest in the RBs and I think they will also spend some more on WRs as well.  I like the young WRs but I think that he will invest in another potential play maker at that position.  I love what Watson can bring with his big play abilities but he is only available half the time because he is dinged up.

So on paper the Packers should win this one but I am worried for a couple of reasons and that is how banged up the Packers are at the receiver position and one Joe Barry calling the shots and cannot figure out how to stop the run.  The Bucs are a pretty decent running team and I worry that the defense will lay another stinker in the run defense.  But who am I kidding I worry about that every week.

Stunning that Wicks is practicing. I thought for sure this was a high ankle sprain from how he described it after the Giants game. And oh look, Ja is practicing. Again

Matt Schneidman:

Dontayvion Wicks, Jayden Reed, Aaron Jones, Jaire Alexander & Quay Walker are practicing

Christian Watson, Elgton Jenkins, Darnell Savage & AJ Dillon are not.

First time I’ve seen Luke Musgrave rehabbing at practice, too

Don't even mention it. I'm getting serious Charles Woodson at the end vibes.

The dude is a top 3 CB in the league when everything is right. If he has a problem, you FIX the problem and if that means firing coaches because they're putting players in a poor position to succeed, then FIRE the fucking coaches!!

This is exactly what Woodson was bitching about with Dom....and they let Woodson go.

Fuck this coaching staff 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

P.S. This is purely speculation on my part but why does it turn out I'm right more often than wrong?

Losing that Giants game was the clincher. Unless Joe "Dogshit" Bury wins the Super Bowl THIS YEAR, he must go. Shit even if he wins it...bye bye!

Take A J's thumb, spit some tobacco juice on it, load it up with Novocain,  tape the shit out of it and go play.

Someone called into Boomer Esiason's show today who worked for one of Boomer's team mates. He mentioned how the guy had a hard time walking around and Boomer jumped in to say his team mate had a hard time walking around because he didn't rehab an injury properly and was letting his dogs lick the surgery wounds.

If the Browns had run the ball every single down in the 2nd half they would have won that game easily. Instead they let Baker cook.

Baker also had a rough game in GB last year. Let's keep that trend going...

I believe MLF went to the well too often and predictably more than anyone getting a bead on it.  that's a once possibly twice a game play and you choose your spot/s.  burn me once, duly noted.  give me the same look again, got it.  really, you're gonna try again?

I am not always a fan of picking the players over the coaches but in this instance I am firmly on the side of Ja and the other defensive players.  To play defense you have to be uber aggressive by nature and it has to drive them bat shit crazy the soft ass defense that Dingle Berry lines up most of the time.

To me Dingle plays a version of prevent defense all game long and as we all know a prevent defense when played too much will prevent you winning.

I agree with you Boris no matter what happens the rest of the way 12 seconds after the final game of the season JB needs to be gone.
