Since we may see some injury updates (e.g. Cobb, Alexander etc) or other goings on during this week, I will make a thread for this.

We have a change in a Packer start:

Still is crazy to me the bye is so late this year.  But then again it might hit just perfectly to get healed up the best that they can.  I was actually kind of wondering if the Bores game would get flexed but glad that its staying as it is.

What's great about this is the divisional Seahawks at Rams is flexed out of the 3:25 Game of the Week on Fox to make way for the Packers playing an AFC team.

I'd rather have the Bares game at 4:25. Those 8:20 starts on the east coast cut into my beauty sleep and it shows!

Very true on the EST.  I am ugly enough as it is I can't afford to get little sleep.

The tweet still shows Rams and Seaskanks at 3:25.

Well, there’s a track record of pure suck…🤮

From a pre-2014 season article: "Since Shawn Slocum was named special teams coordinator in 2009, the Packers have finished 31st, 29th, tied for 13th, 12th and 20th."

The article is entitled "Green Bay Packers' Special Teams Have to Get Better in 2014."

Um, no they didn't have to get better and they didn't get better.

The 2014 STs unit finished 32nd overall (that would be last) ... and crowned that performance with the fake field goal and onside kick in the NFCCG.

I mean, the punter is a significant improvement. Everything else? Same as it ever was.

Want to solve your ST problems? Go hire this guy, his units have been top 3 nationally the last 3 years. ST coaching transfers very well from college to NFL.

Yeah, but he’s from Iowa so he probably has a clip on tie.

Dude even knows exactly when to go on the list. What a year he’s had.

They really need to just get him in a room with the whole organization and have him kiss everyone on the mouth.  Anyone who can get it, gets it and puts it behind them before the next game.

😂😂😂😂 Assuming they are vaccinated, yes.

That's a bone chilling ghost of playoffs past that could easily reappear.

Pretty sure I heard right before Seattle’s onside kick last night, “Seattle hasn’t had a successful onside kick since the 2014 NFCCG.”

That stung.

I'll never understand pro athletes who make a living off their HEALTHY body putting that body at such unnecessary risk.

seen yesterday:  I guess we should retire the expression "avoid it like the plague" given how little effort people put into avoiding an actual plague.

Kenny Clark should be a lock, Preston and Dean Lowry have had solid years, I can't see a PB happening though. Amos deserves it, likely won't get it. These other dudes haven't been here. And Crosby...LOL
