@jasonjwilde: #Packers announce they’ve:
• placed C Corey Linsley on IR;
• elevated G Ben Braden to the active roster for gameday as a COVID-19 replacement;
• elevated TE Dominique Dafney from the PS to the active roster for gameday.

Linsley not done for the year, but he’s now out 3 games.

On paper, GB should win. But the Eagles have a Scwartz D and that always gives GB fits, and Rodgers could have a hard time getting time to throw. MLF has to find a way to run the ball and toss some slants, screens and find ways to get rid of the ball quick to slow down that rush.

Despite winning a Super Bowl three years ago with a backup QB, advancing to the divisional round the following year and winning the division just last year, Pederson finds himself on the hot seat with his future in doubt, sources say. There is no guarantee he returns in 2021 despite his record, and the struggles of Carson Wentz -- and the lack of answers -- would be part of that.

Didn't realize Pederson's job was in the balance.

I think that's a little unreasonable, pederson can't throw a duck in the air like carson does...philly should be careful and realize their qb has fallen off a cliff - they need a qb there...that's all.  oh wait these are the same guys that ran andy reid out of town, right.

I have concerns about this game.  Over the years the Badgers losing seems to carry over to the Packers chances - if nothing more than coincidence.

Eagles are a wounded animal for sure and the media shoveling dirt on Pederson and Wentz will only help but motivate those guys.  Not to mention the Philly D plays tough and they do get after the QB.  And Darius Slay in particular has been a thorn in the side of Rodgers.

Packers need to get up 10-14 points early and squash their hopes otherwise I see a feisty opponent and a close game today.

I am not sure I will get the game today. CBS local affiliate is carrying the game and they are in a fight with Directv and not be allowed to broadcast. Ususally, those games are blacked out in the 700 channels.  Hopefully, DirectV recognizes that and puts the game on for their Sunday Ticket followers.

I think Phillie gives the Packers a tough game, today. However, our offense carries the day, and the Packers win, 27-17. Our defense gets two turnovers. One by King, on an INT, and the other by Gary, on a fumble recovery, in Phillie's backfield. Phillie's defense will play tough, versus the run, but cannot stop Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' passing game from moving the chains. Great catches made by Lazard, MVS and Tonyan, today. Maybe we can put Schwartz's job on the line, as well, today!  GO PACK, GO!!!

Absolute number 1 key today is our o-line vs. Eagles front 4 in pass protection. Last week Eagles played press man, single high safety, and rushed 4. They made it tough for Seattle to use short passing games as they prevented their receivers from getting off the LOS cleanly .... HOWEVER, when Wilson got time, Seahawks had big plays available down field. Crossing / pick routes will be difficult for them to defend, but those take some time to develop. Of course there is no guarantee that Schwartz will play us the same way.

4th and goal. 6 seconds left in the game. Philly has the ball on the Packers nine yard line. The snap comes. It’s a blitz! Pocket collapses. Wentz drops back and scrambles out to keep the play alive. Circles out to the left, looks over the middle, fires. Goedert, wide open, hauls it in! Eagles touchdown to end the game!

Packers win 24-7.

It's legitimate to have concerns about this game, especially considering Philly beat them at Lambeau last year.  I've learned from watching the Packers' 2nd game vs. the Vikings and the game vs. the undermanned Jaguars a few short weeks ago that they just aren't strong enough on Special Teams and Defense to take any game for granted even though they should be favored to win this one.

For as much as Wentz has struggled, he plays hard and he can be frustrating to defend against because he can extend plays.  The Eagles offense has been utterly devastated by injuries, as bad as any team out there.  Their offensive line was one of the best in the league in 2017-2018 but due to injuries it's just a shell of what it was.  They have gotten a few skill position players back from injury so they might be capable of putting up a better showing than they had been.  There was a few weeks there where Ertz, Goedert, Reagor, Jeffrey, Jackson, and Sanders were all out, but some of those guys are starting to get healthy now which should at least give them a fighter's chance to stay in games.

We know the Eagles have a solid defense, in particular up front.  I think GB's motion they use in the offensive scheme will create opportunities for them.  Bob and AJ should have big games.  I also don't think Slay will make it through the game with his calf injury.

GB - 34

Philly - 17

You can't get the channel via antenna?

I have not used an antennae in 40 years. do they still make them? I wonder if I can get some rabbit ears.

LOL, I have an old CRT TV in the bedroom. It's been working on rabbit ears for years.

never even though about an antennae especially paying DirectTv $500 a year or whatever it is for their service. Do you guys with antenaes watch it in black and white too. Go full retro....

We've got DirecTV, which gives us the NYC broadcast channels, and an antenna which picks up most of the Albany channels.  I'm going to guess that in Florida, you don't have anything in the way of hills to block reception.

You're just going to have to do a channel scan if you haven't done that already.  Most of the websites that list reception maps are a joke as they don't list the channels we can get.

I live on the only hill in Polk County. I just downloaded the Locast app for my computer. i am watching the local CBS channel showing the dolphins and Bengals whic is blacked out on CBS and Directv/ . I am thinking they will also carry the Packers. Looks like life wont be interupted.

WR/RB Tavon Austin is inactive for the #Packers today. OLB Za'Darius Smith and RB Tyler Ervin are active. #Packers inactives: 10 QB Jordan Love 16 WR Tavon Austin 37 CB Josh Jackson 53 LB Jonathan Garvin 79 DL Anthony Rush

With the Eagles getting some players back I worry about our defense. They will be highly motivated and I also worry about our offensive line because they may blitz a lot. I would not be too surprised with an upset.

I will give myself a thumbs down.

1960 Championship game. Bednarik vs Taylor.
1997 Longwell misses last second FG.
2004 NFC Divisional playoff game. 4th and 26. After a regular season loss also.

The only NFL stadium that had a jail.
Snowballs. Ice balls. Batteries. Santa.
Jim "Donkey D**k Lips" Schwartz.

F the Eagles.

With Jackson still out with that concussion it tells me that it might have been a nasty one. I hope that he is okay.

Edit: I just read this on Packers Wire, “Cornerback Josh Jackson was in the concussion protocol but didn’t have an injury designation on the final injury report, making him a healthy scratch.” https://packerswire.usatoday.c...s-eagles-in-week-13/

I have NF Clue what Roseman & Lurie expect out of Pedersen when their entire O-Line was injured hell their entire offense is banged up. Yesterday was the first game Alshon returned. I don't think expecting him to turn in an All-Pro performance that soon is realistic. Especially against a very good Packer secondary.

They can't possibly have expected a win vs. Green Bay but hey they definitely tried hard. Their Defense & Special Teams was pretty damn good yesterday.
