@mattschneidman:   Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi have Packers-Bears on FOX from Chicago on Sunday. They had the Packers’ last game against the Lions and they’ll probably have next week’s game against the 49ers, too.

Oh fucking grand...

From PFT:

"Marc Silverman of Waddle & Silvy on ESPN 1000 posted this piece of insight on Twitter: “After talking to a few people with knowledge of the situation, players went to [coach] Matt Eberflus & [G.M.] Ryan Poles asking them to make a change at offensive coordinator.”

The number of players who lobbied for change wasn’t specified but, if it happened, it apparently was enough to help make something happen."

Question: Do we have our usual $25 bet on both Packer/Bear games this year still??

LMK 😃👍🏼

.

Bear Fan friend:

Yeah, fuck it, take my money.  I need confirmation that he's really out. (Waldron) Plus there's nobody to replace him so this season is shit either way.  But I can't take one more of his 4th and short screen passes to DJ Moore for a loss.  This guy was really one of the dumbest fucks in recorded human history.  Maybe Cole Kmet will see more than one target this week.

.

Boris:

Sir.....I want you to know 1 thing....

The Bears this weekend will look like nothing you've seen all year long. I expect their absolute best on Sunday. At end of the game, You're going to be asking yourself..."Where in the fuck was that all year long?!?!"

It's the Super Bowl this weekend. Best rivalry in sports

.

Bear Fan friend: .... sure

------

You all understand I've won the bet 5 straight years. in some of the years when the Packers/Bears have split, it's a push, but I have never had to pay him since I met this friend. Like 15 years running I think?

.

The Packers are 28-5 in the last 33 vs. the Bears, with the most ultimate glorious win in the NFCCG to get to the Super Bowl.

They could turn around their season with a win vs GB.

But that OL.  Was it TEN our DL had such problems with when they had a bunch of starters out from their OL?  I haven't seen much live play this year so I can't recall.

I don't know if it would turn around their season.  Their last 8 games are against the division (6) plus SEA and  @SF. But the Packers game(s) especially their home matchup is usually their Superb Owl, so they should be amped up.  Thankfully, they're almost as bad in their SBs as the Vikings!

@kfishbain:    Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Jaquan Brisker remains out this week. Teven Jenkins (ankle) and Montez Sweat (ankle) won't practice today.

Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright will both be back at practice.

@mikespofford:  CB Jaire Alexander, S Evan Williams & C Josh Myers all back at #Packers practice after missing last game.
RB MarShawn Lloyd also at practice, designated to return from IR.
TE Tucker Kraft no longer wearing red no-contact jersey.

@TomSilverstein:  [MarShawn] Lloyd's three-week window to return from injured reserve is open. Could play any time between now and third week but there has to be a spot on the 53-man roster for him.

This is a very healthy team coming out of the bye. Also, fresh legs with Lloyd out there.

@jeffash26:  Here you go, far-flung #Packers fans. Fox is showing Sunday's game vs. the Bears to the RED areas on this @506sports map. Noon CT kickoff from Chicago. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady on the call.

Bares haven't scored a TD in like 23 quarters. Something tells me they will march right down the field and end that streak on the opening drive. Hope I'm full of it!

RB is the least of my concerns right now. RB has been the consistent bright spot this season.

Need the D healthy, and 10 to stop throwing dum dum balls.

Packers have had 10 straight wins vs the Bears twice, including their current win streak. SO, if they win Sunday that will be 11 straight wins against them. That would set a couple or more records for the Pack. Taken from Packers.com Dope Sheet:

"Overall, the Packers have won 10 straight games against the Bears, tying the longest winning streak by either team in the history of the series (10 straight by Green Bay from 1994-98). The two 10-game streaks are the longest any team has against the Bears. The 10-game streak is also the longest current streak by an NFL team against a single opponent. During the 10-game streak, the Packers have a plus-127 scoring differential, a plus-16 turnover differential (19 takeaways, three giveaways) and have allowed 20 or fewer points in eight of the 10 wins.

  • The Packers have won five straight at Chicago while not allowing more than 20 points in any of those five games, joining the 1928-30 Packers as the only NFL team to do that at Chicago."
