At some point with him you weigh the options of risk vs reward of playing again in 2020.
Matt Rhule says he is not expecting Christian McCaffrey to play Saturday vs. the Packers.

That's a big missing piece for the Panthers. A key reason that this is a 4-9 team.
Brad. Hoover.
It is not in the long term interest of the franchise to risk McCaffrey in a meaningless game.
Bills and Broncos in the late afternoon game.
Devonte came into this season as 15th in all-time Packer receiving yards with 5194. He has now passed James Jones (5195), Carroll Dale (5422), Randall Cobb (5524), and Billy Howton (5581). Currently at 6338 yards, he needs just nine more to pass Max McGee and 200 to pass Greg Jennings.
Winning is more important than individual stats of course, but I think this is pretty cool. Hoping he has a great game this Saturday...
Got to admit, I had no idea who Billy Howton was, but apparently he was very very good. Had a couple of 1,000+ yard seasons with the Pack, and back in the 50's it was only a 12-game season. He's still alive too...
Tobin Rote to Billy Howton was a potent combo in the shorter seasons.
I'd like to take a moment to thank Jim Harbaugh and the Meechingan Wolverines for eliminating my Saturday night conflict.
So you're happy people have COVID? Interesting . . .
This should be good.
I'm confident PH will not take the bait.
Where is SDPF when we need him?
Rodgers says Tavon Austin already recognizes a good number of routes in #Packers offense based on a single term. "He knows ball. He knows how to play. And he has a good presence here." He also thinks Austin's veteran leadership will help on special teams, specifically.

I think that Moore can be a threat because we sometimes struggle against two decent WR’s.
And he will be active. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story...9-list-play-saturday
Tavon Austin is going to have some big plays in the future & the playoffs.
MARK IT DOWN!!
Seriously, he's going to get opportunities. Will be fun to see if he can turn it into something big.
Sternberger just can't catch a break. "Injury prone" is going to be a label soon enough if he can't stay on the field. And it doesn't help a break out player also plays the same position he does and is now the bonified starter.
TE Jace Sternberger has not cleared the concussion protocol yet. Here's the injury report, largely unchanged for the Packers. https://t.co/83VsUqMJSt pic.twitter.com/09PnZGz1Hv

Sounds like Gary is good to go Saturday. Really think next year is pivotal for Jace if he wants to keep his roster spot.
For sure he needs to stop getting kicked in the head.

Who's the other one? Steve Smith? Musin Mohammed? That white dude for a couple seasons?
Jeff Janis. He's throwing in a set of tires.

Glad to see you're OK after getting all that snow.
Thanks! I measured about 39" in my driveway. Got 2/3 of it cleared before my back told me to quit. Will finish up tomorrow. Thank goodness it was dry. What a PITA.

I'd REALLY like to see us put these guys away early. I don't want to see us getting an onside kick from Carolina at the end to win the game. Put the foot on the gas pedal and keep it floored.....35-14. OVER

Holy Shit!!! That is a lot of white.
I said that when I moved to Utah.
Because of all the coke?

That means a 22-17 nail biter then.
Thanks.

There it is ....early dagger call. Thanks.
During the game tonight, they advertised for the Saturday games and mentioned only on NFL network. We now carry the Hulu app for the bulk of our channels, and we have Sunday Ticket. Neither of which seem to be carrying this game. Is anyone better versed in this stuff that might point me in the right direction? I know this was a late schedule change, but what's the point of playing Saturday games if the normal viewing avenues are not available?

You bet. I do what I can for the team. It’s not much, but it’s honest work.
I don't see the Pack getting 17
Dagger antidote.
Don't know what show I was listening to but the hosts were saying the Packers defense better not sleep on this Panthers offense..

Correct me if I’m rong, but I thought the NFL let’s the NFL Network games to be broadcast on local channels in the home markets? Otherwise, there are a variety of “questionable” sites to stream the game...just be sure to have your anti-virus installed and don’t download anything.
