lol lol lol lol ...Peterson ran for like 21 yards on 11 carries last week. Um OK McVince.

At some point the Graham/Lewis package has to be unveiled.  It is why Lewis was signed, not for his own merit.  At this point I'm thinking it may be later in the year as unscouted or less-scouted looks.  That's the last excuse I have that I can tell myself, short of believing MM has no idea how to make it happen.

He did go for around 100 week 1. GB isn’t exactly in a position defensively to be taking things for granted. Prove it week in and week out.

Lewis was in on almost 20% of snaps against MIN. That's not a lot, but it's not like he's a great receiving threat and the Vikings have a great run defense. Same with Chicago, so I'm not sure the plan was every to run that much against those teams. Washington is neither a great run D or terrible run D, so I would expect a much more balanced attack this week.

I'd love to see a more balanced attack. MM can call more run plays but AR has a bad taste in his mouth from "settling for too many damn field goals" Expect him to throw 1st and be hungry for TDs.

Get Jones in there instead of Haha.

That was the suspended Aaron Jones.

And I don't see Josh Jones taking HaHa's spot. Not this year anyway.

Gotcha on the last name, but I do think Jones at least seems to care about the game.

But much tougher than us against the rush. Granted, it was against the Colts and Cards, but we're giving up WAY more yds/game (Wash 86.0 average, Packers 123.5).
Your point about expecting a more balanced attack is still valid, especially considering Jones probable availability. No matter how the game unfolds, we'll have our work cut out for us to rush and defend the same.

Kendricks, seemed to be playing like the fullback that MM likes. So, in MMs mind, who needs Lewis for the pass protection? Perhaps once the running game gets going, we will see a bit more from Lewis.

Steady rain here in the DMV. The turf at FedEx is generally pretty patchy anyhow and it will deteriorate pretty quickly today. Will be a bit of a mud bowl.

From S I MMQ Sunday edition:

Those at Packers practice on Saturday said that Aaron Rodgers looked a little better this week than he did for his single practice last week, which is good news. The process of coming back from the bone bruise was always going to be incremental, and it’s more than pain management (i.e. it can get worse). Steps forward are really all the Packers can ask for.

What?  The guy isn't a burner but he catches everything thrown his way.  He's the guy that doesn't get tackled immediately because he's stronger than ****.

Watching him in Jacksonville he nabbed even tough grabs.  He may have lost a step but I'm pretty sure his hands are just fine.

The Redskins are having to shuffle the OL a bit, starting center moves to LG, vet backup to C.

Very interested in watching the LOS all day.  Our OL has not been very good so far this year.  Even 69 is having a hard time.  As ilcuqui noted, Washington's front seven is no joke.  Rodgers will have to help himself out by dealing quickly.
