@WesHod: CB Jaire Alexander was back for Thursday’s non-padded (and snowy) practice.  S Javon Bullard (ankle) & LB Quay Walker (ankle) were only non-participants.

He has been at practice late in the week before but any word on if he will play?

I'm guessing they sit him again, and maybe not even play him until the playoffs.  It's a tough call because if he's plays and re-injures the knee and isn't available and/or not 100% for the playoffs, then there're a bunch of questions as to why he played: against a team GB should beat anyway; against the Vikings when GB's playoff seed was pretty much determined; or why he played in Week 17 when their seed was actually determined.

I can definitely see that being the case that it depends on what the playoff situation is and when they clinch.  I think if it means anything I think he could start against MN if it means nothing next week then I think they will sit him and have him freash for the playoffs.

I know he is one of the top DBs in the NFL but I wonder if he will need to play at least a little bit before the playoffs so he can knock the rust off.

@RapSheet:  Saints interim coach Darren Rizzi told reporters that Spencer Rattler will start at QB on Monday against the #Packers. Meanwhile, RB Alvin Kamara is unlikely to play with a groin injury more severe than initially known.

MLF today... On reporter asking about challenges....

"That's for you guys to talk about..."

His most recent challenge wasn't bad. Previous ones some of them were worse.

Players still don't get that you have to twist around, and face the field so your butt can land on the ledge, back facing the crowd. Too many just end up stomach against the wall asking for help.

Feel sorry for whoever Tausch steamrolled when he tried his. Like getting run over by a moose.

Healthy bunch heading into MNF.

@TomSilverstein:  Packers coach Matt LaFleur said it's possible that TE Luke Musgrave could be ready to play Monday night. He said he's looked good in practice. They would have to create a spot for him on the 53-man roster. LaFleur said he's taken scout-team reps this week.

Ah, the parking lot snow mountain.  I used to work in Southridge mall in Milwaukee.  If I started at 1 p.m., there'd be no parking left because the mountains, and customers, took up all the space.

When Musgrave was drafted I thought he would be the bigger threat at TE over Kraft.  Kraft has exceeded my expectations.  It sure would be good to have them both healthy for an extended period of time to see the impact on the offense.

We played " King of the hill on those piles at school.. The big k II d's would kick our ass until we figured out that if we just grabbed their ankles and gave a tug they would be rolling down the hill.

Still pissed about the game when Perry was called for roughing on Peyton Manning.  Great, clean hit.

It was Andrew Luck, but I’m with you. Fantastic hit. I thought for sure he’d knocked Luck out for the game.
