It does make it more difficult for the Titans to plan. But I would assume it also makes it difficult for the Packers. Wouldn't the game plan be vastly different if Love starts vs Willis.
@Dr._Bob posted:What was Love's Wonderlic score? He thinks sleeves are for legs?
Former Utah State quarterback Jordan Love recorded the fifth-highest Wonderlic score among college quarterbacks who took the test prior to the 2020 NFL Draft, according to Bob McGinn of The Athletic.
McGinn reported that Love scored 27 on the Wonderlic Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test.
The former Aggies quarterback tested better than seven other quarterbacks including Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) and Justin Herbert (Oregon), who like Love, are projected to be selected in either the first or second round of April’s Draft.
I'm going to pretend that Willis played so well last week that it's forcing Love to look over his shoulder and get back out there ASAP.
Give him another week. A mobile Willis is pretty dangerous. A less than mobile Love is a different animal.

I don’t think this is likely, however, if MLF really wants to play mad scientist while limiting Loves snaps his first game back, the Packers could recreate the dynamic duo of Drew Bree’s and Taysom Hill.
Throw in a few plays where Willis comes in does a QB draw, throws a bubble screen, a little out route or whatever MLF would come up with. Then imagine if it works 😱 😉

I know a lot of people think Clifford sucks and should never see the field. But if Love isn't able to play (and I don't think he will be ready this Sunday), I would actually do this with Clifford. Bring him in for a few snaps/possessions. He knows the playbook, most likely better than Willis at this point. So design a few plays/series of plays for him, epsecially if the Willis majik seems to wear off after one game.
To add, I don't really see a scenario where Willis plays the full game and only attempts 12 passes. And I'm not sure I trust Willis passing the ball any more than I would Clifford.

moose. ugh. sound will be off
If JLove can play, and without jeopardizing his season by further injuring himself (which I severely doubt the Packers would allow should they decide to start him), then he plays and it's not even a discussion. To argue that Willis would give GB a better chance to win is just malarkey.

As conservative as the Packers are with injuries, I honestly would be shocked if he plays this week. I think they will rest him to be ready for a division game against the spermheads the following week.
I know I am beating a dead horse about the defense but this is a week that this defense has to carry them. I don't think they can run the ball like they did against Indy and I am not totally sold Willis can get the job done again.
@AdamSchefterDespite what was projected to be a 3-to-4 week absence due to his knee injury, there is a chance that Packers QB Jordan Love can make it back in time to start Sunday at the Titans. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays this week,” said one source. “It’s definitely day-by-day like he said, and 50-50 at best right now.” But the larger point might be that, even if Love cannot make it back by Sunday, he’ll have a realistic chance to return next week at home vs. the Vikings, which would mark a two-game absence.
While Will Levis has been a disaster, that Titans defense has played very well. I don’t think GB can just match out there and rush the ball 50 times and expect to win.
As for Love, it’s obviously far more important that he’s back next week given it’s a rival and divisional game. Every game matters, but a game against MN or Detroit or Chicago almost counts 2 games in the standings.

Clifford hasn’t shown shit since pre-season of last year. Ride with Malik en toto until Love is ready to return.
I love Toto.
I think this is going to be a very difficult game. Titans held the Jets to 265 of total offense, but lost the turnover battle by 3, which is all out impossible to overcome. On the road, this would be a more impressive win than last week if Love doesn't play.
A loss to an AFC team means very very little in the grand scheme as relates to tiebreakers, playoff seeding, etc.
Beating the Vikings next week is ultra important as it's a division game plus a conference game.
I certainly want the Packers to win this game because that makes their path even easier.
There's no reason for Love to play this week.
Let's see what ya got Malik!!
Practicing in pads is a big deal. I would be surprised if he doesn't start on Sunday..
Jordan Love practicing for second straight day, indicating his knee responded well yesterday. This time, he’s in pads.

Tucker Kraft (shoulder) in a red, no-contact jersey.
Jayden Reed (calf), Elgton Jenkins (illness/glute) returned.
Jordan Love is wearing some kind of device on the outside of his left knee. Certainly not like big old clunky braces they used to wear for MCLs. Didn’t seem to be affecting him. pic.twitter.com/5Z5f76RcIt

Packers win in TEN = 2-1
Vicks lose to Houston = 2-1
Love returns for week 4 showdown with Vicks in GB
Please just give him another week off.
No.....I have a better idea.....
Let Malik start and have Love be his backup if he's ok....Then bring in Love, middle of 3rd Quarter after Malik can't do shit and come from behind to beat the Titans in shocking fashion.
How am I doing at my NFL script writing?? 😁

I know MLF says it's purely a medical decision, but I have to believe that playing an AFC team is part of the team's calculation.
Game next week is a much bigger contest.
#Packers coach Matt LaFleur says Jordan Love was limited in today's practice, and he'll get up to 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday: "I think every day is a good day for him to get out there and be out there with his teammates."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 19, 2024
Matt LaFleur isn't taking #Packers' red-zone offense woes lightly: "We had a long discussion about that last night. When I look at it, we've had a lot of opportunities we have not capitalized on."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 19, 2024
Welp, not fumbling at the goal line would be a good start.

And having a penalty erase a Reed TD for too many men on the field no less!
Brooks has a "good forward lean." My bartender said that about me. Made it easier for him to top me off.
It’s been an exhausting few weeks for most of our players. Long trip, slippery field loss of #1 QB, new plays in playbook, heat and maybe that again.
Current forecast for Sunday in the Nashville area:
High of 94 degrees, 53% humidity, WSW winds 5-10 mph. Partly cloudy with little chance of rain.
It will be hot, but perhaps the early KO is a benefit this week to avoid the hottest temps.

You don’t have any thumbs? How do you…never mind.

Hitch hike?
In contrast, I don't think Love's gait looks solid and quite right yet. I think/hope they give him another week to fully heal as much as a guy can during the season. It's early, but already players start to feel the effects of bashing into each other at full speed.
I'm sure there are reasons for it I can't comprehend, but I don't understand why there would be a "need" to rush him back into the lineup.
I suspect it's driven by the media more than the team, and I have to trust the docs aren't putting him into a RG III situation.
It's way too early in the season and schedule to play Love every single snap of every single game if he is questionable, or another week of rehab would be of more benefit for the long term.
Jordan Love practicing for the 3rd straight day. Per Schneidman from what the reporters are allowed to see, Love was doing the same activities as the rest of the team.
Guessing he will be listed as “limited” and officially questionable, go figure!
