I was there and man was it cold.

I remember as we walked out to the car, my feet started thawing and if someone would have stepped on my foot I would have screamed bloody murder.  That is the coldest I have ever been in my life.

I genuinely felt bad for Jeff Hostetler as he laid on that field injured for a number of minutes after the Pack's D-Line had knocked him around.

Was pretty fun to be at the game but I barely remember the LeRoy Butler moment as I was so focused on the cold.

Cold cold cold, that game was freeeezing cold.

Was young and dumb and having too good of a time.  I apologize to all who may have heard me make fun of Hostetler that day when he got knocked to the bench.  Thankfully an older guy turned around and brought me to my senses.

Maybe it was the numbness caused by the third-coldest game day ever at Lambeau Field, with the temperature at zero and the wind chill at minus-22. Or clinching the victory for Green Bay’s first playoff berth in 11 seasons.

Amazing.

Simply Amazing.

You could tell things were building to something great at that time, but it was so HARD to believe and fully sell your heart to them after years of great hope.  I still have to give Majik so much credit.  He kind of got them rolling and then with some 'tweaks'  they really headed in a direction that made history.

We have been fortunate to be able to watch the likes playing football for our GBP.  But, I have never, EVER seen the unbelievable talent of Reggie White.  It's hard to conceive the things he did as a player, watching as a fan.

I bet the men that played the game had an even greater reverance.

R.I.P. 92.

Thank you.

I can 2nd that emotion CHEEZE.  Brooks flew up into the stands - guess it helps to be a great hurdler.

from wikipedia:

He was considered one of the best track athletes in the world after winning the 110 meter high hurdles with a time of 13.9 seconds at the Keebler International Prep Track and Field Invitational in June 1988.

I was at that game.  Me and my dad.  My first ever trip to Lambeau.  It was "0" degrees and the beer would freeze in my glass.  Fortunately we sat in the sun for the entire game.

Butler did the Leap at the other end on our side.  The Raiders pretty much gave up on the game early.  By the 2nd half almost all the players on their sideline were huddled around the heaters waiting for time to expire.

Leroy Butler still remains one of my all time favorite players.   Same thing with William Henderson.

Both guys bucked the odds and ended up being very good players for the Packers and I always felt Henderson got hosed out of Pro Bowl consideration because of stupid Mike Alstott - who was actually a RB, not a FB.

Great seeing those old highlights and it's hard to believe that was 20 years ago already.  We've really been blessed over that time in that there haven't been a lot of clunker seasons mixed in and a lot of good players have come and gone including #36.
